Toshiro's Birthday.

I woke up earlier than Toshiro. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep. I figured if I made breakfast for him it'd make up for yelling at him. I made eggs and bacon. Then I heard footsteps.

"Morning sleepyhead. How'd ya sleep?" I said perkier than usual.

"Great, actually." he said as he looked down at me. We've grown bigger since I went into the Academy. He's now 4 inches taller than me.

"I'm probably the reason." I said jokingly and flipping the eggs.

He chuckled. "You could be the reason." Then he wrapped his arms around my waist.

I blushed. I have become softer cause of the schooling. And being around Toshiro........ "Eggs and bacon. Tonight is gonna be special." Today is Toshiro's birthday. I'm gonna surprise him.

He smiled and kissed me on the cheek then turned on his heel to go ready for the day.

We ate and set out to go out on a date. I brought him to Feng Shuei's. Feng makes awesome sushi, so both Toshiro and I will have a great time.

Hours passed and I got him ready for the surprise. I blindfolded him and walked him to the area.

"SURPRISE!!" everyone yelled as we walked in. All of the captains and lieutenants, Ichigo, and Rukia were there.

Toshiro's eyes widened in happiness as his smile grew huge. Even bigger than Gin's. He turned to me. "Thanks Sade."

"Presents!" Rangiku yelled.

He got: new shoes, badge, scarf, a lamp, swim shorts (haha), and my gift. I got him a new sheath for his zanpakutō. He loved it. It had an engraving that was a dragon with wings like icicles, the tip of the tail was a snowflake, and its eyes were sapphires.

Gin got him the trunks, even though Toshiro hated the beach. I was gonna break him out of that fear in the summer.

When we got home it was midnight. I wanted to make his birthday better by something........
