First day of school first day of nightmares, especially for me because I just moved, I'm an introvert, and its middle school. Everyone knows those things don't mix at all, and of course my big sister Angelina is going to high school on the year I really need her. I have to be in the same grade as my brother Indi or Indiana he's annoying and his "friend" Eli is super nice which is sad, she's pretty and smart but chose Indi as her best friend, maybe the girl just doesn't have standards.
Now that I'm at school here are the top three things I'm scared about : 1. teachers 2. Clique's, and the top 3: people in general. The only friends I have here are Indi, Eli, Leo(childhood friend), and Connor(4th grade friend). That's it.
When I get into my homeroom class I see a arrangement of kids there, It's like I knew who was going to be popular, who where going to be the people who start trouble and who were probably going to hate me.
Our teacher wrote his name on the board, Mr. Brown I think he's my Math AND English teacher which means the school probably doesn't have that much staff. He first talks about how middle school works, then takes about not messing with the 8th graders and the cheer leaders, and the jocks. Then he just started doing work. I looked behind me and see Connor looking at me. "Hey April I can't believe we have homeroom together, ready for middle school it won't be easy",
Did I mention Leo and Connor are a year older than me. The bell rings and at the end it kind of screeches which hurt my ears, they're sensitive. But it was science which I SUCK AT emphasis on suck. I head in and I see this girl, I think she's in college and she had the biggest smile I've ever seen (it didn't look creepy) and long shiny black hair. Eli whispers to me "that's our teacher?", wait "THAT'S OUR TEACHER", I stupidly yell out. That's when I realized more people are in the room and stared at everybody in the class room scared for my life. I am so dead. Indi pushes me out of the classroom and scolds me even though I'M the older kid.
The teacher gave me the worst death glare while putting her hair in a bun but didn't say anything. I got lucky because I got paired with Indi and he is smart, well, he's only smart in Science. We have to do a elephant toothpaste trick with a coke bottle and we have to mix them and see what happens Indi said it was probably going to explode so that's what I went with, plus, that could also be the reason we had to do it at home and take a video of it.
Now its LUNCH!! My favorite part of the day eating food, talking to your friends, and... Eating food. I never had many friends don't Judge me I'm a introvert *spit* so THERE. (I'm sorry for my actions). I was in line and this jerk from homeroom pushes me to take my spot, I guess he was thinking " oh this girls right here eh who cares I'm going to PUSH HER OUT OF THE WAY to get in a VERY tight space"
I get a look at this sorry ask for a kid and I'm sorry to say this but, he was HOT. I know I know I'm sorry but seriously green eyes, brown and MESSY hair I can't I just can't. Leo was there (even though she didn't have any of my classes except Math) and saw how I was stupidly gawking at this mystery boy and says " Hey whateveryournameis you pushed my friend" the boy looks and her bluntly and says "so?" in a sweet deep smooth voice. NO STOP IT APRIL your better then this.
