Shamir's POV
We came to Phase Four, the jelly bean man came and gave me a paper, it says 197. I think it's one of the three brothers, Hisoka went down first then, Gon and I went second.
"Hey Gon? Who's yours?"I whispered as he looked at me
"Hisoka......what about you?"he asked me as I looked ahead
"197, I think it's one of the brothers"I said as he nodded
"Good luck nee-chan!"he said as I giggled
"Good luck to you too! Don't push yourself too much kay Gon?"I asked as he nodded and we part ways. I sniffed the air and I smelled Killua, I quickly ran to his scent and I saw one of the brothers following him. I didn't pay attention to him and landed on Killua's side
"Heya there Killua!"I said as he nodded
"Hey"he said as I leaned down on him
"Can I come with you? I think one of the three brothers is targeting you, my target is also one of the brothers"I said as he looked at me and nodded
"Yeah sure, just keep calm"Killua said as I scoffed
"I can be calm! I'm not a scaredy cat, except around Hisoka"I said and he nodded as we continued walking.
~Time skip two days before the time was up~
So far we got nothing, I on the other hand sense three people.
"Hey Killua? I think the three brothers are here"I ask as the younger brother came out because the oldest brother kicked him to us.
"Y-your just easy to take down!"they said as I looked bored and Killua two.
"Oh yeah?"I said as I quickly went to my target and got his ID card without him noticing. I'm fast like a lightning and I got back on Killua's side as if nothing happened.
"Are you underestimating us? Your only two while we are three"the fat brother said as I laughed and showed his and the second oldest their ID card
"True but listen here, give the ID card of your youngest brother than I and Killua will not fight you"I said as they looked pissed
"Not without a fight!"the fat brother said as I smirked
"Killua do the honors, I got mine already"I said as I backed away and Killua nodded
"Sure~"he said in a murderous way and looked at the three brothers, the three brothers looked scared
"Ha! Scaredy cats! Scaredy cats shouldn't be a hunter nor a soldier!"I said as I remembered what Levi told me when I was a ten years old. I didn't even notice that I had a tear escaped my eyes, and I also didn't noice that Killua already finished off the brothers.
"Uh.....Shamir are you okay?"he said as I blinked and looked at him
"Oh yeah! I am.....just remembering Levi"I said as he looked confused
"Who's Levi?"he asked as we walked away from the three brothers
"Levi......L-Levi Ackerman is the one who took care of me......in our country......they fight these gigantic looking humans that also eats humans. Now we are free.......the human raise on that country is free from those monsters.....Levi found me in the woods.......I treated him as my true father.....then before I got to the Hunter Exam, he said that he's not my true father, my true father is Ging Freecss"I said and paused as Killua kept silent
"I actually thought that I'm an outsider in the Survey Corps.......I felt that I didn't belong there......L-Levi is cold and emotionless, b-but I grew on his attitude......I missed all of them....."I said and I cried silently as Killua just listened to me
"D-don't cry b-baka!"he said as I smiled and wiped my tears away
"Maybe.....the five of us visit my hometown where I grew up.....after me and Gon found Ging.....I know you and Levi will get along well....."I said as he nodded
"Okay...."he said as we got back to the ship and all of them were back, we saw Gon looking gloomily.
"Gon are you okay?"I asked my little brother as he looked at me with blood shot eyes.
"Nothing......"he said as I looked at him and gestured Killua to go away, he nodded and I sat down next to Gon. I hugged him as he let out a shaky breath.
"It's okay Gon.......on the bright side you got his ID card didn't you?"I asked him as he kept looking down
"I-I failed to e-even hit him!"he said as I looked at him
"Gon! Your stronger than him! I just know it and I can feel it! You've gotten stronger ever since we face the Hunter Exam! I know you can do it!"I said as he let out a soft cry and I hugged him tight
"O-okay"he said, after the whole sibling moment thing we landed on the Hunter Association.
"You can just rest! All of you needs rest, we will start our Phase Five and Final Phase tomorrow"Netero-san said as I smiled and look around, I was roommate with the other four and I was so happy. We're just 10 contestants including me, the others were called by Netero-san to ask some questions and I was the last one.
"So who do you choose to fight? And why"Netero-san asked as I pointed at Hisoka.
"Him. He hurt my brother and I think I just needed some exciting moment!"I said with a smile as Netero-san looked at me
"Who do you choose to least to fight?"he asked me as I bit my lip
"Gon, he's my brother and I can't hurt him. But I also can't hurt my friends, Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua"I said as he nodded and dismissed me, I was walking to my room and I saw the Gon, Leorio, and Killua was sprawled out of the bed. I also saw Kurapika reading one of the series I gave him when we are at the ship.
"Hey Kurapika......."I said as he looked at me with those grey eyes.
"Hi Shamir, what's up?"he asked me as I smiled
"Nothing......just thinking something"I said as he nodded and kept reading the book, I stared at him.
'God why do I like him so much? Is it because of his sweet and gentle attitude? Is it because of his kind heart towards me?' I ask myself and continued daydreaming.
Kurapika's POV
I was reading the book Shamir gave me when we are at the ship, as I heard the door open, it must be Shamir.
"Hey Kurapika......."she said as I looked at her
"Hi Shamir, what's up?"I asked her as she smiled
"Nothing......just thinking something"she said as I nodded and kept reading the book that she gave me and hid my face on the book so she can't see my flustered face.
'Gosh why is she staring at me like that!? I'm getting nervous right now! This isn't like me to get nervous around girls!' I thought as she kept staring at me.
"S-Shamir are you okay?"I asked her as she blinked a couple of times and blushed.
"O-oh y-yeah I'm fine......I-I need to rest......g-goodnight Kurapika...."she said as I nodded but looked confused.
