Doraemon Story 47: School Drama

The day had arrived.... Nobita was the prince. Shizuka was Rapunzel. Suneo was the evil mother... and Dekisugi was the real father of Rapunzel... The play started. Everybody's parents were there! Nobita's dad clapped as the curtains opened. The first scene had begun. Rapunzel's father (Dekisugi) sneaked into the garden of the witch. A quickly took a cabbage since he had to feed his family. A crow saw it... Suddenly Suneo entered the scene, covered with black robes. Everyone smiled because Suneo was looking funny in that evil mother costume. 'You have stole my cabbage!' the witch yelled 'Now I shall steal something really valuable to you!' Rapunzel's father ran away from there as the witch kept laughing. The curtains closed for a second and now we were in the second scene. The witch had gone to the house of Rapunzel... This was an intense scene. A baby doll was in the crib and Suneo had to pick it up, just like the witch did with Rapunzel in the real story. He picked it up. 'I shall name you.... Rapunzel!' the witch declared and ran away. Everyone was in awe. Everyone wanted to know what was happening next! Suneo's mother cheered for Suneo. 'The Witch will win since Suneo is playing her! HAHAHA!' she yelled. The entire hall looked at her. She understood it and kept quiet. The curtains opened again, revealing the next scene. Rapunzel (Shizuka) was in a tower. She was singing a beautiful song. 'This long wig is really heavy!' Shizuka thought but still she kept playing the character. Suddenly Nobita entered the scene. He was on a horse made out of cardboard. He had his acting badge on. 'Oh, this beautiful voice...' he started 'Who is singing in such a beautiful voice! Who is this lovely maiden?' 'Woah, that's too real...' the audience whispered. Nobita was wearing the Acting Badge of Doraemon after all.

Doraemon giggled... The prince chatted with Rapunzel and went away. Suddenly Suneo came back in the scene! 'I know you have been chatting with a prince and he is planning on making you escape from here!' Suneo yelled. 'NO!' Rapunzel said but it was too late. The Evil Witch cut Rapunzel's hair with a piece of glass. The next scene came... It was the next day... The Prince came back again... He was climbing Rapunzel's hair but suddenly it was revealed that it was the Evil Witch holding the hair. The audience was shocked. The prince fell into some plants with thorns and it pierced his eye... He cried. Real tears came out since the Acting Badge was there... The curtains closed and opened again. Some years had passed by. The Evil Witch was dead. Rapunzel was singing in the garden, remembering the prince. The prince roamed around too. He couldn't see... Suddenly he heard the sweet singing. 'Oh, I remember this voice!' he said 'This lovely voice!' Suddenly Rapunzel saw the prince too. Both of them reunited and a drop of tear from Rapunzel's eye fell on the prince... He could see again! The crowd clapped in the final scene as they showed the prince had become a king and Rapunzel a queen... They even had their prince...
