the kiss

Todoroki's POV

"Midoriya kun. Today was a good day. Thanks for coming with me. And thanks for the rollercoaster, the cotton  candy, everything."

"Oh um... no problem. Do you want to meet up again next time..?"

"I would love that."

maybe it was the way midoriya kun's smile warmed me up, or the way he had held my hand during the rollercoaster ride, or even the way he was looking into my eyes right now...whatever it was, it made me feel like I had to do something just then and there.

like I would regret not doing it later.

like this was the last chance I had.

and before I know what I'm doing, my lips are on his.  I give him a quick peck, and quickly turn my face around so he couldn't see how red it was. Before he could grasp what had happened, I run away as fast as I can.

Both sides of my face was burning the entire time I was running. When I arrived home, the first thing I did was check the mirror. my face was flushed from running in the cold air, and the ends of my hair were tinged, a little bit of smoke coming out of them.

I fell facefirst onto my pillow, covering my blushing face. i felt warm and tingly inside, and in my delirious state of mind, I went to sleep dreaming about the green haired, adorable boy with freckles I had just kissed.
