chapter 03

I regained consciousness as Sammy banged the car door, "man it's getting late, I think it's time we get back home," I checked my time, it was some minutes pass 2am the street was quite, and cold, there is no sign of human trespassing, then I get off the car bonnet, feeling very disappointed.

I was about entering the car, when Josephine turn her rooms lights on, one of my hand was resting on top of the car, and i hold the car's door with the other hand, one of my feet is on the floor while the other feet rest inside the car, my head is up and I'm focusing on the light, so I hold, starring directly at her room, hoping to see who's in there, but I only saw a shadow walking from side to an angle in her room, trying to change dress,

"man did you see that?" I asked, "yeah I saw that, can we leave now?" Sammy responded, "no I want to see who's in there," Sam who was sitting on the drivers' side, look at me furiously through the car, and say, "well, you know that she won't be coming down here by this hour of the night, do you?" Sammy asked "if she's not coming down here then, I will have to go up there myself"

I dropped my feet down, close the car door, and stated walking towards the house direction, Sam was looking at me like this guy has already gone crazy.

As i walk approaching the house, that when Josephine draw's her rooms curtain slowly and gently.

I pause as I sighted her, she was wearing an oversize White T-shirt, then she sat on a table, relaxing on the glass wall and watching the street through the glass wall, holding a cup and sipping a coffee, she get her heir loose resting them on her back, then I saw her radiant face glowing, I feel very cold, deep inside my body was shivering, as the entire world stopped, I stated hearing this pleasant sound rumbling, in my ear's, that's makes my heart stopped for some seconds, I wasn't myself, because am confuse and lost, "indeed that's Josephine" I said to myself as I take a deep breath, turn around and head straight back to the car.

Sam asked, "why did you comeback? I though you will go up there by this hour of the nigh," I look at him with this calming and satisfying smile, and said to him "just drive" Sam keep driving while I put my head out through the window and started blushing for no reason, until we get home.

It was early in the morning, as the alarm stated ringing, I yawn as i woke up, dress up, picked my car key, and drive out, I parked across the street waiting for Josephine to come out, I waited for some few minutes, then I sighted her jogging coming out of the house, I remains inside until she came and pass by my car, that's when I stepped out of the car, stated jogging and head towards the direction Josephine's heading to, until I get very close to Josephine.

"Hey" I said "hey, good morning" Josephine responded, turning her head towards my direction to see who's she talking to.

"You" she shouted looking very surprise,"yeah, me" I responded "what're you doing here?" Josephine asked" I came to see you" I answered "I want us to talk" "talk? I think you're completely out of your senses, you're still not satisfied with the event that happened, so you follow me down here to completed it right?" I wanted to respond but she keep blabbering.

"Hey" i yelled at her, "I did not follow you, you followed me" she stopped, and then look me in my eyes, "I followed you?" "Yeah you followed me" I responded "I think you're completely out of your senses" I was starring at her face, watching those sexy lips of hers spitting those ugly words, "you know there is this stupid thin with you guys, the moment you set your eyes on a beautiful girl, you just start sticking and following her around, I'm not that kind of a girl, and don't you ever think that i will fall for this.

"Hey" I yelled again "just because I said you're beautiful the other day, does not means you're indeed beautiful, I just said it out of compliment, and that does not guaranteed you to tell me shit, by the way your face looks like that of a monkey."

Her face got red, she responded angrily, "what.? Who? Me? How dear you insult me like this? You don't know me, but I will definitely deal with you" She walks on me crying.

So I pause "what have I done?" Looking confused "congratulation Joseph, you've just ranked five Star general, congratulation once again for making her cry on the first date." Although it's not a date.

I turn around get into my car and drive home.

On my arrival i met Sam preparing breakfast, I narrated all that happened between me and Josephine, "you fumble" "yeah, yeah I know, I know that I fumble, but what should I do to make things right again," I asked "well I think you should go and apologise because you've really done bad.

"With the scenario that happened between me and Josephine, do you think she will listen to me if I confront her again? " "well I don't know, but if you truly love her you will definitely find a way to confront her, and apologize" am kind of lost I don't know what to do, I don't even know if I can deliver today's lecture.

"Awww, shit, what a bad day to start a relationship" I said to myself, "I will definitely find a way to meet her tomorrow, so I can apologize," I walk straight to my bathroom to take a shower.
