I'm so surprised that's  quiet and I'm pleased to see you here my dear luckily the children are sleeping  in their beds dreaming about gumdrops inside of their heads without care that we're   not inside of our beds drinking eggnog  by the fireplace while seeming to be moody in all in one place starring at each side by side by each other face to face there is nobody at home but the four of us all alone me  you and the kids when suddenly there was a sound like a clatter upon our rooftop;

I checked on the children while you got out a gun to see what was the matter but it isn't  as silent like it used to be now  but suddenly with an uneased feeling somehow I knew it was Santa climbing down the chimney so I yelled out loud," please don't fire or shoot!" so you put your gun down to wait without a reply and just wanted to wonder why? Santa appeared and sent us off to bed and placed gifts under the tree believe it or not the night may have not been silent tonight but Santa was real indeed;

yet though I was pleased to lay  with you  asleep in the sheets while Santa had to leave with a twinkle  of his eyes and a wiggle of his nose up he went but had to go yet I knew that tonight wasn't such a silent night and in spite of what  had happened Santa was out of site but after that had happened at the beginning tonight before the crack of dawn had approached  us though oh  what a silent night that it was last night!
