Billie

A year later

"Hi, My name is Billie Jae and I'm here for the office job." I said politely then waited. I looked around and Seen no black women in the offices. I mean that wasn't going to bother me. I've been places where I was the only black woman there.

"Billie Jae?" This white strong voiced White woman came out the back with this suit on. For sure she was gay.

I stood up and walked with grace to her. I shook her hand gracefully before walking into her office. I looked around and seen it was decent.

"Well Ms. Moore I don't have any more office openings for you but I do need a PA. If you're interested?" She asked and I looked at her with that huh bitch face.

"Will I be getting paid the same as everyone else in this building?" I asked because I need to know. She laughed which made me look at her sideways. What's funny?

"Yes Ms.Moore you would be getting paid more actually since you're my PA, Meaning you go on Trips with me and etc." She said making me smile.

"You should smile more often. It brings out your beautiful brown eyes." She said which made me look away from her cream skin. She couldn't handle this chocolate skin.

"You're desk is actually through this glass door over here. You can style it anyway you want," She said and then I remember I don't know her last name.

"I don't know your name Miss?" I said and she stopped in her footsteps.

"It's Mrs. Jordan. Camren Jordan," She said and I stopped for a second she married? Oh shit.

"How long have you been married?" I asked and the smile left her face.

"My husband and I been married for 2 years going on 3 in February." She said which made my gayder stop going off. She's really not gay. Bummer.

"Oh that's cool." I said walking into my office and closed the door.

"It's really not." She said before I closed the door. What did she mean it wasn't cool? Did she not want to be with him? If so it wasn't my business.

I looked around this place and got lost into the white wall.

" I love you Billie," Asha said to me

A tear fell down my face while I replayed that scene in my head. She meant so much to me, I couldn't believe she was not here anymore. I wish I could visit her mom but she hates me.

She thinks I caused the drama and everything. My family continued to pity me which pissed me off so I moved out.

The cops who killed my girlfriend got away with it. She was buried and I visit pretty much everyday.

"Ms. Moore?" Mrs. Jordan asked me which made me sit up and clean my face of the tears.

"Yes ma'am I'm okay." I said.
