I got up and went in to the bathroom took a shower gave myself an edge up then I headed toward the stair then I heard.

 "Ahh yes baby right there."

I laughed, Ron at it again. That's the only part I don't like about living with Ron its hard to have peace and quiet, but that's my nigga though.

"Who was it this time ?" I asked as I heard him come out his room. 

"Man it was shawty from the barbershop." You nasty man I started bugging. 

I went downstairs and made myself some egg whites, turkey bacon, and French toast with some orange juice. I sat down to eat and text Kenya.

My mom is helping me clothes shop, I'm going to tell her Maleiyah mom wants to talk to to her about something important I hope it's nothing serious she sounded pretty sad, I love Ms. Betty she has always been their for me even when my family didn't want to help. Maleiyah been acting the same way I just pray they OK.

"Mom!" I yelled. 

"Why you yellling for I'm right behind you"

"Ms Betty wants you to call her she said its important." 

"OK go get ready to leave I'm about to call her right now." she reassured.

Trisha POV

*Phone Call*

Trisha:Hey Betty how you been girl.

Betty:Not so good look I want to tell you this myself. before they deliver it to you.

Trisha:Who is they and deliver what news.

Betty:I have cancer Maleiyah know, but she don't know how serious it is I'm going to tell her today, but anyways I don't trust her father and I don't want her staying with him, I wanted to know if you mind if in my will can I make you the sole custody of Maleiyah, you treat her like your daughter so I know I can trust you to take care of her.
