Laura Taylor's home -> 📍

"Laura! come to set dear, i want you to meet the cast." my dad shouts over some commotion in the background. dad always wanted me to meet the people he would work with on different things, he says it builds more trust in each other. i already trust my dad with my life, he's the most important person to me.

"i'll head down there dad, want a coffee?" i ask, gathering some clothes out of the dryer, tucking my phone in between my head and shoulder. "would you dear? the coffee here is frankly shit." he laughs at his own statement. "okay. black as usual?" i already know he likes his coffee black but i always check just to hear him say one thing, "always my love." he replies, some male shouts in the back gaining his attention. "i have to go but i will see you soon, love you dear." he says, sounding like a child on christmas that he gets to see me. "love you too dad." the phone line cuts.

i grab a pair of jeans and a olive colored tank top and black bralette, something simple. i head into my room, closing the door behind me as if someone else was in the house. i change out of my running shorts and tank top, feeling now cold because of the lack of fabric.

after i'm changed i spray on my perfume that freddie had multiples of, when i was born in january freddie was terribly sick but still managed to see me the few months before his death. i can't remember him, but from what i was told he loved me. he hoped i grew up as extravagant and as out there as he was. some days i wish i could time travel and see him.

i put on my pair of slip-on white vans. it was the warmer months of england that made everyone happy. considering it's july the weather is coming to a halt in a few months. i had to transition out my clothes.

i grab my keys, phone, and wallet, double checking that i have everything. i walk out my door, locking it behind me with my key. then heading to my car, happily sitting in my drive way.

wembley stage set - live aid -> 📍

i pull up to the gates of the wembley set, seeing the security guard named pete. he was a nice man and knew who i was. "morning pete. i'm here to see my dad." pete nods from inside his 'shack'. the gate widens for my car. i wave to him as a thank you, pulling forward. i immediately see my dads black audi and the empty car park right next to it.

i get out of my car to find my dad. my first guess is drum set, that's where he always is. i wave at a few people that i recognize from my dads past career. before reaching the stage.

i look up, yup, he's exactly where i thought he would be. i see brian off to the side, seeing him made me so happy. i quickly walk over to him, hoping he wouldn't notice me. once i reach him, i give him a tap on the shoulder.

"laura!" he engulfs me in a hug. i hold out the coffee in my hand so i don't spill. "hi brian," brian is my godfather, he has been like a second father to me. i stick out my hand and offer to start our handshake that we've had since i was 5.

"you've still got it," he laughs and gives me a final hug. "are you here to see your dad?" he asks, pointing to the coffee. i nod, and give a little giggle. "he's up there." he points to the drum set where he sat with a blonde boy. "thanks brian, call me, we should get together!" i walk away and wave. i find the set of stairs to the fake stage.

my dad sees me as i approach him and i'm assuming his actor. "hi dad!" i receive a hug from him. "here's your coffee." i pass it to him. "thank you love." he kisses the top of my head. i close my eyes and stay near him a little bit longer. "so, this is ben hardy, he's playing me!" my dad laughs, motioning ben to come meet me. "hi, i'm ben." he sticks out his hand for me to shake. "laura," i shake his hand, in awe of the human in front of me. he gives me a wink when i realize i'm staring.

"hey! rami, gwilym, joeseph, and lucy!" my dad motions them over. these must be the main actors. my dad introduces me one by one. "hello, the names rami." i shake his hand, "let me guess you're playing freddie." i smirk at him. "why yes i am darling." he says in his freddie accent, which makes me smile.

"hi i'm gwilym." i shake his hand too, "impeccable resemblance to brian. i love it. i'm laura." i laugh gently and receive a loud laugh from rami and ben. i turn to see what's made them laugh so hard. rami, unable to speak waves me to move on.

"joeseph, the bass player." he sticks out his hand. in his pink patterned shirt that's tucked in, it sure made him look geeky. "laura. laura taylor." we make brief eye contact before i move on.

"and from what i've dialed down, you're lucy?" i stick out my hand to shake. "you are unbelievably correct." she laughs. i can tell me and her will be close, especially with the other monstrous boys on set.

when i step away from the group, i see them with smiles on their face, looking at me. "so she's your?" gwilym asks my dad. "i'm her father." i lean into my dad as he says that. "oh." he answers.

"clear on set!" the director calls from behind all of the cranes. my dad ushers me off the stage, him following behind. rami reminds me so much of freddie from how many home videos i've seen. rami sits at the piano, starting bohemian rhapsody, the song that started it all.

-
"lunch!" is called to the cast members on stage. they all release a loud sigh of relief. ben walks over to me and slings his arm around my shoulders, "where are we going to lunch princess?" i stop walking with him and his arm comes off of me. "princess? really? call me laura." i say, folding my arms to add more to my sass. "well you are the daughter of queen, doesn't that make you a princess?" ben says as if i'm stupid. i walk away from him, a smirk pulling on my lips. if he really wanted me he would follow. which he did.

"please go to lunch with me!" he drags out his please, walking backwards in front of me. "fine, but stop calling me princess!" i give in, he's cute, what else am i gonna do. "thank god!" he let's go a breath that he seemed to be holding.

oh ben, you will be the death of me.

hallo!
"momma just killed a man, put a gun against his head"

hope you enjoyed that chapter,
tried to represent that the film was in the making starting in july with rami, instead of including the many people that were intended to play freddie.

i also did the math, if laura were to be 27 like ben, that would make roger 42 when she is born which doesn't add up, so let's just say he was 39 when she was born because of some complications of trying to have kids in the past? sound good?

see you soon.
