"Ishita" her mother whispered entering Ishita's chamber. She expectedly looked toward Ishita, who didnt even glance her once.

Madhivi once again called her but get no response. Ishita who was humming wattering her flowers turned and gasped in fake surprise. She hurriedly put the watering can down and move toward her mother.

"Oh my, my." she bowed standing infront of her and continued "Queen of Madraspatnam infront of me. Is it a dream?"

"Ishita" Madhivi tried to caress her hair but she back off. Madhivi somehow controlled her eyes and roamed her eyes over her.

She looked so different.

Her Ishita was so childish, so full of life, just like a sunshine spreading happiness. She would dress on some cheap clothes, roam without any guards on her free will. But now . . . .

This Ishita was dressed in those royal jewellires, desiner sarees, face without any emotions, words full of venom. Confined in four walls of her chamber she looked anything but the Ishita she had abid in chariote.

"How are you?" She somehow said. The formal question she asked stung her heart but when Ishita replied in a monotonous way "I am fine, Thank you for asking, ranima. How are you?" her heart twisted with pain.

Knowing she wont be able to controll her tears Madhivi ran from there. Ignoring the damn protocle, she ran like anything but a elegant queen. Her beloved, knowing very well the situation englufed her in his arms. The tears kept running from those tried eyes till they reached their own palace.
