Learning The Ropes

I took my horse to the stables and my stomach made a loud rumble it even startled the horse.
"Shh calm down it's alright."
I said as comforted for horse.
"If only people were more like you." I whispered to my horse.
"Captian?"Y/N said as you stuck your head around the side of the stable.
"What is it Y/N?"
"I was told to come get you for lunch sir."
"I'll be there in a minute cadet."
"Yes sir." Off she went back inside.
I stepped around the side of the stable to watch her walk away and thought to myself...
Mmm what I'd do to that ass of hers
I shook my head saying "stop it!" Out loud.
Marching quickly towards the front door I heard laughter. I peeked through the side window to see everyone getting along perfectly for once. Telling stories about how they got here and how Eren tried to grab a spoon with his titan hand. All was well. To well I thought.
My stomach made a loud grumble and everyone turned to the window I quickly jumped away and opened the front door.
"Captain are you alright? I heard a growl at the front door then you stepped in."
"I'm fine just skipped breakfast and now I'm starving."
"Here sit down Captain I'll fix you a plate!" Y/N said extra happily.
"Thank you."
"Did the Captain actually say thank you? Is he sick?" Eren asked Armin.
"Why are you always so concerned about the Captain Eren? Hes a grown man he can take care of himself!" Mikasa lowkey shouted at Eren
"Why does it matter to you Mikasa I can ask questions about anyone I want to stop hovering you're not my mother!" Eren shouted back
"You two get a room and shut the hell up! Eren you know damn well Mikasa loves you and wants your undivided attention so give her some damn it!" I shouted
"Fine! Mikasa get your ass in here I'm fixing you wear you out!"
Mikasa gave me a glare like she could kill me then smiled and giggled as Eren pulled her to the bedroom.
"Well so much for me then.." Jean said depressingly
"You'll find someone, you know maybe with a horse face like you!"
"F U Connie!" Jean shouted
Everyone laughed.
Moans and squeaking started to get louder and louder we all made our way outside in pure disgust.
"They could have been more quiet." Sasha said
"Nah, if it ain't loud it's no good!" Connie stated with a wink at Sasha.
Red flushed her cheeks.
"Alright that's enough we already got two making it in there dont need you two making it out here." Armin said
"Captain, do you think we should send out a quick scouting before we call it a night?" Connie asked winking at Sasha.
"Go ahead." I said while sitting on a stump sipping on my tea.
"Yes sir!" Connie shouted picking up Sasha and running towards the horses both of them snickering.
"Captain they're not scouting the area. You know that right?"
"Jean do you think I'm that ignorant? I know what theyre up to I was young once myself."
"Haha yes sir." Jean said while starting a fire to get warm.
Armin asked "what's it like?"
"What to have sex?" Jean asked snickering
"No, to be in love with someone and knowing that you'll never have them!" Armin said laughing at Jean
"Real funny blondie." Jean said in an annoyed tone.
Eren opens the front door after an hour or so passed. Having a huge grin on his face he said "You can come on in guys."
Armin laughed while we all walked in the house and said "So maybe now Mikasa wont he so uptight!"
"I HEARD THAT!" Mikasa shouted from the bedroom.
"Okay brats that's enough time for bed we got training tomorrow."
"Yes sir." They said while departing to their rooms.
I sat once again by the window fixing to sip on my tea when realizing I was out.
I made my way to the stove to brew another pot of tea when I heard foot steps.
"Night guys." I said as Connie and Sasha made their way to the room.
"Goodnight Captain!" Sasha said with red cheeks and a half buttoned blouse.
I stuck my finger up at them and placed the lid on the tea pot and walked back to the chair.
"Captian Levi?" A soft voice said coming from the hallway.
I turned to see Y/N standing at the end of the hall.
"Cant sleep?"
"No sir, I dont sleep well."
"Have a seat cadet." I said when the tea pot started squealing. I stood up to grab the pot and two cups before heading back to the table.
I poured the tea in both cups handing Y/N one.
"Thank you sir."
"No problem, what made you wanna join the scouts?"
"Well I dont know really after hearing stories about how strong and courageous all of you were and helping others I realized I wanted to help people too. My father was a teacher and died when wall rose fell and my mother died giving birth to me. It was me and Braun for years until he decided to join the mp but when I found out I was trying to get into the scouts he didnt want me going alone so he followed me." I said while looking at the cup of tea in my hand.
"Everyone has their own story and a past that they would like not to relive. But it's the past that makes us who we are today." I said while staring into Y/N's eyes.
"You're right Captain, I shouldn't hide from my past but embrace it."
"If you feel the need to do so Y/N then do it. Dont let anyone hold you back from your true potential. Not even your brother." I continued to look her in the eyes losing my train of thought.
"Are you alright Captain?" Y/N said
I leaned forward across the table standing on my toes to reach and kissed her sweet lips. The first time I've kissed a woman since Petra was taken from me.
"Captain?"
"I'm sorry Y/n but I couldn't help myself. Go on and try to get some rest we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow."
"Yes sir." Y/N said while looking at my lips and pausing for a moment then getting up and returning to her room.
"Sigh" what is wrong with me. I'm acting like a damn teenager again. I thought to myself.
