ocean salt burns my eyes,
unsaturated colors appear above me.my head is completely submerged in the deep blue,
but the salt turns the color to a purple.sunlight beams through the surface,
reflecting off of the water that surrounds me.i lift my head to face the sun,
but the salt remains in my tear ducts.
