Omisha had walked through a palace before. She had passed marble pillars, ancient decor and assortments of flowers. She knew to be aware of palace staff and that whenever there's a castle event, everyone is bustling about. She knew the scent of the prepped food would waft from the ground level upwards. However, the palace was practically empty.

The Queen of Asgard knew the blonde was cautious and nervous. The way Omisha's eyes darted all over each corridor they turned into and how her fingers fidgeted by her stomach. "Everyone is preparing for the Ballot dear. All attending people have left to go place their name." Frigga meant that the castle was empty. "I'll show you to your chamber and let you get changed, then we shall go to the throne room."

As the two women turned left to climb the stairs to where all guests were staying for the next to weeks, something clicked in Omisha's head. "A ballot? Am I supposed to put my name in?" The Queen stopped a step above her.

"It's to sort everyone into teams for particular activities." Frigga motioned to Omisha to keep walking as they spoke. "You'll miss your chance to place your name however you will be placed in the team that has less people." A smug look crossed the Queen's face, as if she knew who Omisha would be placed with.

The Valyriaten understood she couldn't just run and put her name in because didn't know where the throne room was and she didn't want to leave the Queen abruptly. "Okay. That's good. I'm sorry to be so late in attendance."

The Queen laughed softly as Omisha apologised for her tardiness. "Honestly, I'm thankful you're late. Everything would've been so hectic and unorganised, and it's just the beginning of the Ball." The Queen took Omisha's hand gently and turned right into a wide hallway that had about three red wood doors on either side. Torches were placed in between each gap and at the end of the hallway was a balcony that overlooked a grassy plain. "Also I really wanted to meet you one on one. I ought it best to see Morrigan's daughter on a personal basis." Frigga stopped in front of the last red door on the left side of the hallway. Omisha didn't know what to do when the Queen stared into her eyes. "Here is your chamber — have you got an idea of what to wear?" The Queen stopped short when she realised Omisha still had to change and she wanted the young Goddess to make a good impression.

"Yes, actually. I'll change and come out and show you. I'll be quick." The Queen raised her eyebrow, not in surprise though. She couldn't help but be coy as she dipped past Frigga and waddled into her chamber. Omisha felt horrible as she closed the door on the Queen but she wanted to get changed privately.

As Omisha chucked her duffle bag on the bed, she pulled out the outfit she had in mind. As she unzipped the blue gown she'd worn, she noticed a gigantic open window to the left of the bed. It overlooked the street that had booming noises rising up. Large gold pieces of exquisite material hung as blinds. The floor was dark brown which worked great with the white marble walls. To the right was a light brown dresser that was positioned just by a door that led to a bathroom.

Omisha laid out her blue gown followed by her glorious sword on her new bed as she zipped up the elegant white dress. It had no sleeves and covered her chest. It hung just above her ankles and the white heels assisted the quaint look. As she rushed to the bathroom to check her face, she realised she wanted her hair down as it was propped up in a bun. She drew a sharp breath as she touched her hair. "I can't do this by myself."

She cringed harder each step she took to the door. By the time she swung it open to reveal herself, she could not see through her eyes. "You are obviously your mother's daughter." Peaking through a faint squint, Omisha's nervous nearly disappeared as Frigga beamed happily at her.
