Another Kid and Mithross??

I walk to the gate scowing and my fingers sparking due to rage. I see Nathan, Zane, and Shad standing on the other side of the gate. Nathan and Zane are smirking with a psychotic gleam in their eyes while Shad looks...uneasy like he doesn't want to be here. Whatever, he's probably faking. I approach the gate, I hold my chin high. "What do you want?" Zane cackles while Nathan smirks, "You Aphie." I growl and my eyes turn blue while electricity comes off of my hands, "Never ever call me that again." He just laughs and I turn to Shad narrowing my eyes. "We had a deal asshole." He narrows his eyes, his face morphing into an angry expression but his eyes look like he's pleading with me, "Well maybe I decided to join them instead, Irene." I growl, "After what you did you have no right to call me Irene." His eyes soften but his tone stays harsh, "Well then Irene, I wonder what I'm supposed to do with our relationship." Sly growls and so do I, "We do not have a relationship, I thought I got that point across the last time I kicked your ass." He chuckles, "Oh, you mean that little fight we had in your dimension?" 

I growl, "I missed my son's birthday because of that! Do you know how important it was that I was there?" He sighs, "Yes I do actually when he showed up in the Nether how you could talk about was how your sweet little Jacob disappeared." My eyes turn completely blue, no pupils and no irises. "He came to you and you didn't tell me?!" "It was too late he was already a shadow knight when he showed up!" My eyes are watering, "Do you know how long I searched for him!? Do you know how I felt when I found my son dead?!" His eyes widen, "I thought you knew he was dead." "No, I didn't! I found out once I saw him dead in front of my statue!" His eyes soften and his jaw goes slack, "I'm sorry, I didn't know or I would've told you. If I'd known I would've lost my best friend over this I would've told you." Everyone behind me gasps and Laurence asks, "How were you friends with him?!" I shake my head, "He wasn't always a jerk, he used to be my brother in arms, and then my son died and we stopped being friends." Shad's eyes take on a hurt gleam, "I'm sorry about Jacob, I didn't know." I growl, "He committed suicide because I wasn't there! He died because I couldn't be there! He died because of you!" Venom laces my voice and he shrinks back at my words. 

"He's here."

My world stops.

"What."

A man steps out of the squadron of shadow knights behind him and he walks to stand next to Shad. "Remove your helm." The man takes his helmet off and I see my son looking back at me with tears in his eyes. I take a step back my hand covering my mouth as tears fall from my eyes, "J-J-Jacob?" His sword clatters to the ground with his helmet, "M-M-Mom?" I see the tears tracing lines on his cheeks. I see Shad say a quick spell teleporting Jacob to me through the gate. I hug him and sob, "Oh my sweet baby." He hugs me back crying. (He's taller so she's like at his shoulder) I pull back and brush the hair out of his face, "You're so grown up." He smiles and I just hug him. 

Sly asks, "You have another one?" I look over and see everyone's shocked faces. I teleport Shad to me and hug him. "Sorry for doubting you." He pats my head, "No problem." He says a spell making all the other shadow knights (plus Zane and Nathan) that he brought leave and him and Jacob change out of their armor. "Flippy, Leo, Levin, Malachi, Tommy, meet your brother Jacob (19)." (Timetable at the bottom of the chapter) Jacob's jaw drops, "I have 5 brothers?!" I nod and giggle, "Yep! They're all adopted, just like you! Flippy is 16 and Leo is 15, Tommy is 17, Levin is 6, and Malachi is 7." I turn to my kids, "Jacob's 19." 

Sly walks over and puts his hands on my shoulders, "Anything else from your past you feel like sharing? No more scars, friends, or kids...right?" I nod and kiss his cheek, "No more." I turn to Jacob and Shad, "This is my husband, and your dad, Sly." Sly waves, "Hi." Shad waves at him and then looks at me, "When did you get married?" "9 years ago, 2 years after I separated from you." He nods, "I have a lot to catch up on then, huh?" I chuckle, "Yea." Jacob looks at Sly and then back at me, "He's my dad?" I nod, "Yea? What's wrong with him?" He raises his hands, "Honestly I thought you would marry Shad." I burst out laughing and double over, I point at Shad and say in between bouts of laughter, "Marry him? Ha!" Jacob tilts his head to the side,  "What's so bad about that?" I laugh harder and then I wipe my eyes when I finally get myself under control, "He's like that one friend that you talk to as if they were a girl, I'd never marry that one friend."
