Chapter 23: Summer Confessions

    [DAY 3]    

~ At the living room of the villa ~  

"A seaside road trip and camp for 2 days and 1 night?" the youngest friends said in sync to Mrs. Lucena. "Yes, Why don't you explore it both of you?" she said before she give her husband's car keys to Mark. "I'll prepare something for road trip" relvee said and went to the kitchen to prepare their foods. "How about all of you here?" he asked to her. "Xenon will going to team building with his workmates here. I don't want to found out about you in here that's why and her parents will be fine since they volunteer to help her brother" she explained while mark simply nods. "We'll plan a camp on this. Don't worry" he said with smile before getting the camp necessities to the car while relvee went to him and put the important needs and foods in the back of the car after bidding farewell and safe trip to her family. "She didn't want to found you out as an idol who was having vacation here in cebu" relvee said. He smile then pat her head. "Let's settle an adventure here" he said before they went inside and drive off the road. 

The younger open the car window and let the fresh air breeze getting inside the car. "Does it too fast for you, luna?" he said as the younger shake head. "It's a right speed to chill in the road in here this afternoon" . "The team building camp of your brother will be stay for 2 days so we have two days in road trip" the eldest said while focus on the road as two young friends enjoying the sunny scenario of their road trip. "Never had this before, Mark? When you were live in states?" she asked while mark was thinking as he tried to remember his summer days since pre-debut back in America. "Well yeah along with my cool friends. Having fun in road, listening music in radio and singing. How about you, during your summer days?" he asked. "Well, attending camps, summer class for studies and yet having stay alone" she answered. "That's boring~" . "Well, it wasn't since i used to grow up in much studies and also skills to develop and applied it in school" she added. "You really are a smarty kid, don't ya?" mark smiled  to her for a while before focus on the road. "As long as studying hard makes you grew interest and curiosity in this beautiful world~" relvee answered to him. 

"Honestly, you're too pretty for being single and didn't have in relationship to some guys out there" he said to break the 5 minute of silence between them and makes the younger raise her left eyebrow to him and laughs. "You're sound like a playboy when you said that to me". He laughed by her words. "What? I was just asking you know" he grin in silly way. "But yeah, you really are like that, luna" mark said in which she chuckles and look at the sea. "You know that i need to reach my goals first before love life. If there's a one man who has a patience and stay loyal to me when he court me, Then its a possible chance that i really love that person" she answered in which mark stay silent for a while and smile secretly. "Well, I actually in love to someone in this area" he jokingly confessed in which the younger starts to feel uneasy yet a bit pain inside her heart before staying silent for a minute. "Must be that girl was lucky blessing for you right? Well, good luck for you, Yi-eun" she said in sarcastic tone. He nods silently before they arrive at the camping site nearby the beach area since the owner of the camping site was approved by their stay. 

~ 9:30PM in the evening  at the seaside beach ~

They already in set for the camp and mark was in the seaside reading a letter from his boss back in korea with a sad expression before the latter went to him. "What's wrong? You seemed not in mood anymore, mark" relvee said in worry while sitting beside the eldest. He sighed before turn to her "I'll be going back in korea tomorrow night" he said in which she was surprised by his news and look down a bit. "Mark I---" she was able to say something but in sudden, he lean closer to her and give a serious yet loving stare to her eyes in which she looks back to his eyes. "Even though this is my last day with you spending vacation together. I was very happy to be with you. I know we're bestfriends since the day we met, i really enjoy to spend time and experiences with you by exploring every places and share our stories and thoughts. I'm really thankful . . . to have you here" he confessed to her in which making her heart racing fast before mark lean closer and pressed his lips onto her gently in eyes closed. "This is it . . . My First Kiss From My Idol" she thought while close her eyes and respond it. He start to kiss her fully with passion and love to prove that he's in love to her so much. She was speechless yet didn't respond his kiss because her mind was processed on what he was saying making herself a bit doubtful on him until they parted their lips with blushes on their cheeks. 

"I . . .I Like You, Luna" he said in which make her speechless until he hug her tight. "You didn't know . . . the girl i mention while were having road trip last time was you and nothing else" She was still speechless by his sudden confession and feel herself more doubtful for her on how will respond her feeling. "M-Mark I . . . I--" her words been cut off when he look at her eyes in full of sincere and love for relvee in which making the younger's cheeks blushing in color pink. "Look, I know you were doubtful about this in sudden confession of mine. I know you're scared . . . . because of our different worlds we had but . . . please remember that everything will be okay. Its okay to reject it at least i could say my feelings for you, luna. I'm ready . . . to wait for your answer on what was your feelings to me. You're the sun and i'm the moon no matter how different we are. We're still the same one universe" he said in which he held her hand gently as relvee squeeze it and smile to him. "I'll think about it, Mark" The eldest smiled back to her and end their confession with a cute warm embrace to each other.

Few hours later, relvee can't sleep well after remembering the words that mark spoke to her and makes her heart thumping faster than before. "Can't sleep well?" a sexy yet husky voice asked to her in which she found out that mark was half awake and look to the younger. "W-Well a bit" she answered until he pull her closer to him as he place her head to lean on his chest and surprised to hear his heartbeat faster when she was close to him. "Y-Your heartbeat, Y-Yi-eun" she said nervous tone. "Y-Yeah, i know" he said in nervous too. She smile secretly as he found her cute when he was nervous until she wrap her arms around his waist hugging him to stop his nervous. "Luna . . . " he blushed while look down to her. "We should sleep now, Yi-eun. Although this will be your last summer vacation day but still i want to hold this moment for us tonight" she said in which he smiled and respond her hug tightly. "You're right. Good Night~" he said then giving a sweet kiss on her forehead making her smile cutely in eyes closed. "Good Night, Yi-Eun~" she mumbled before they both going back to sleep inside the tent.
