Chapter 4: Adoption day

As Miss Hannighan went through the list of names stating: How old, birth date, and what happend.

She got to me.

"Elizabeth Ann Rose.

Age 13 years old

Birthdate: October 13, 2000

Elizabeth came to Plesent hill adoption center after her Step-father murdered her mother and got life sentence in jail." Miss Hannighan smirked after reading mine.

She always got mine wrong!

Then she went on to read about some other kid.

After she read all the names she left us and the bands to mingle.

"Hey Elizabeth?" I heard someone say behind me.

I turned around to see Austin and Alan.

"Yep that's me! But you can call me Lizzy!" I said sticking my hand out.

"Hai! I'm Alan! Also known as the Ginger princess!" He said shaking my hand.

"I know! I love your band and everything about it!" I squeal invonlentarily.

Vicky cleared her throat.

"Oh! And this is some random person I met in a gang!" I said Turing around to Vicky.

She mocked hurt.

"Some random person?!" She said pulling her hand up to her heart.

"I'm kidding! You know I love you... Especially after you snuck me those gummy bears... Then I knew it was true love."

I got down on one knee.

"Victoria Snow Black.... Will you do me the honor of being my go to gummy bear person?" I asked her.

"Get up!" She laughed.

"This is my bff Veronica! Call her Vicky or she'll slit your throat!" I said dead serious.

Austin laughed.

"Why hello there Vicky!" He shook her hand.

I turned to Vicky. "I'm going to have to surgically remove that hand and put it in a com sealed box." I laughed.

"You will do no such thing! I need this hand so I can slit peoples throats when there jackasses to you!" She teased me.

I looked back to see Austin making heart signs at me.

"Dude I will chop off your hand!" I say swatting his hand.

We started laughing as CC and Jinxx walked over.

"Whats we talking about?" CC asked jumping on Alans back.

"I'm introducing my bestie here to you freaks!" I say holding a hand up to them.

Austin mocks hurt. "So that's what I am now?! Just some freak?!" He put his hand up and said. "Come on Ginger princess lets get away from here!"

"Don't leave me! Your my only friend!" I shouted falling to my knees.

"OH! OH! I see how it is!" Vicky shouts pretend slapping me.

"Baby I'm sorry you know I love you!" I beg.

"I've heard those words before!" She says as she puts her arm over her eyes.

Just then Miss Hannighan walks in.

"Okay! Times up! Two people per band max, and here are the papers!" She says quickly handing out papers to one person in each band. "I hope you make the right choice!" She says bitter sweetly.

I walked with Vicky to the corner.

"Ready for another year of boredom?" I ask.

"Yup..." She says pulling at a string on her fingerless gloves.
