Jessie macree I'll never forget the day I met Yn and Ashe....I mean it's pretty much the day I met my new family. And the one of my favorite memories. Flash back 18 years old I was a farm boy didn't do much just picked the fields for my father tended the animals and everything else. "Jessie" I hear my father say I look up to him. "Yes pa" i asked "I need you to go to the market and pick up some food we're running low and can't wait for it to grow" he asked of me "sure thing I'll be back around.......3" I said my father gave me a serous look. "No later or your mother will kill us both" he said I hear the voice of my mother from inside. "I heard that but do what he said Jessie!" Me and my father laugh. "Well I'll be on my way" I say and start to jog out of the farm area. After about 20 min of walking and jogging I got to the market filled with people minding there own business. I go over the the fruits and vegetables and grab a few of everything and put them in a small shopping bag. I pay for the food and go to another place in the market. I get to a meat section we're I see pork,beef,chicken,and many more meats. I reach for the beef but I accidentally touch someones hand. I quickly retract mine. "Oh sorry about that sir" I said to the person. "No don't worry it happens." I hear the voice of a guy...that's about my age as me. "I'm Yn" he said offering me a hand I take it and shake it. "Jessie" I said "nice to meat you Jessie.......I'm kinda new around here wanna show me around" he asked I thought about it for a second. "Sure just let me get this" I said picking up the last of my groceries and paying for them. "As you already saw the market there's......really not much here in this town." I said as we were walking by an alleyway we hear something. The sound of metal hitting metal with extreme force. We look to see.....a bunch of people surrounding a poor omnic while he gets beat by someone with a metal base ball bat. Yn ran at the guy and grabbed his bat and stopped the swing. "What's your problem kid!" The man screamed "the only problem I see is you" Yn said only to receive a base ball bat to his ribs receiving a loud crack. "You wanna protect them then you get the same treatment."The man said readying another swing. But before he could swings he was punched in the face. "Elizabeth" I hear Yn say poorly because of his newly cracked ribs. "I'm here Yn......but this son of a bitch won't be!" The woman who saved Yn yelled at the man who hit him. It does not take a genius to tell that a man is royally fucked. I watch as the man tried to swing that bat at her....only to see her duck grab his arm put it behind his back and with out mercy and snap his arm. The guy fell on the ground clutching his arm. The girl was about to continue but Yn put his on her leg. She looked down at him and stopped dead in her tracks. I ran over to them. "Yn you ok" I asked the woman looked at me. "Who the hell are you" She asked "Jessie macree" I said. "A friend" I hear Yn confirm. She nods and picks up Yn. I get up. "I'll meet you at the hospital I got drop some stuff at my house."I said grabbing my bags and running home. After 15 min of non stop running I get home and put the groceries on the table. "Ma Pa I'll be back!" I called out to them. And grabbed some keys and went over to My family's garage and got my bike. And rode to the doctors. As I parked the bike I took out the keys and ran front desk. "I'm looking for my friend Yn." I said "Mr Ln is in room 36 on the second floor." The lady said I went to the elevator and went to floor two. After walking through hallways I went inside the room and see Yn asleep and the Woman who saved him right by his side.i walk over to them. "How is he?" I asked "He's fine just tired"she said looking at him. "Well that's good.....I'm going to head home uh....tell me if he gets any better" I said and started to head home. Time skip When I get home........it wasn't really a home just ash. I got off my bike and ran to the burnt down house. "Mom Dad!" I yelled. Looking around for any sign of them. I kept walking till I stumbled onto there corpses. I stumble over to them. I hold the hands of my dead mother and father. I then remembered the guy who got Yn I'n the hospital. "This is all my fault if I didn't say my name...you wouldn't have been a victim" I said as a few tears started the shed. I bring my hand to there eyes and shut them so they can Rest In Peace. I go over and grab a shovel and begin to dig.......and Bury the last of my past. I pat the dirt that is now the final resting place of my family. I walk over to the ashes of my once home and see a box. It was made of fine metal strong and sturdy. It was my fathers. I open to see.....a hat and revolver. I find a note written as well. "Dear son if you are reading this it means I'm dead. What I give you is my prized belongings. The hat was my fathers and his before him from generation to generation. The revolver is called peace keeper. Again it's been with us for generations. I want you to take this and do good things my son... and remember bring your gun every you go. You can never be to careful." I read I fold the not and get back on my motorcycle to take one last look at my home. I then drive back to the hospital. Time skip I sit down with Elizabeth and Yn. "So Yn I was wondering......if........I could come with you guys any were you go." I asked they looked at each other Yn looked ok with it but Elizabeth Looked upset about it. "Hold on Jessie" Yn said as he grabbed Elizabeth's hand and dragged her to the hallway to talk about I don't know something. They came back in. Elizabeth sighs with annoyance. "Ok you can come with us but annoy us so god help me-Elizabeth" Elizabeth started only to be cut off by Yn. She stopped. We all got up and went to leave the hospital. I smiled. At least it turned out well in the end. I thought as I take my hat and look at it more closely.

No matter where I go they will always watch over me. I put the hat back on and run up to Yn and Elizabeth. She looks at me. "I'm.........sorry About the way I acted......but call me Ashe welcome to the family." She said and we started are grand adventure.
