The New Girl

Oh no! I exclaimed . I completely forgotten about the ns task we had that was due today. It was already 7:00. The bus was going to fetch me any moment. I ran to my room and grabbed a notebook. I needed mom to write a letter explaining why I couldn't complete my task. Well there was no excuses I could think of. The real problem is that I forget about the task!

Hoot hoot ! Oh no I yelled. The bus is already here. I raced outside so quickly that I slipped and tripped over a rock.
The next sound I heared was all the kids laughing at me.
I felt embarrassed. On the bus I noticed a new girl. I noticed she was very lonely and had no friends. So I decided to sit next to her. I asked her What her name was? She said Kayla . I asked her where she came from she said london.I was surprised that she came all the way from london.

Anyways we were all seated when the lady from the office brought the new girl that I met in the morning to our class ... My best friend Sarah's neighbour.  After 2 hours the teacher called my name to presentate our task. I was worried because I remembered that I didn't do mines!
I nervously walked to my teacher with an upside down smiley face😕

And yes my teacher already knew by the look of my face
It was probably the 8th or 9th time I havnt done my tasks.
I didn't want the new girl to think that I was the naughty girl of the class. So I  quickly made an excuse. I said " there was an emergency at the rspca where My parents work and they needed to go there eagerly. That's why I couldn't do My task because I didn't have any help or anyone to bring me to school yesterday "
My teacher stared at me for about 15 seconds and said " do you expect me to believe you?

When I called your mother yesterday to ask the reason why you were absent she said you and Sarah went to the circus"
My face became pale as I was soo embarrassed. The whole class began to laugh even the new girl. Luckily not Sarah.

During class my teacher asked who will volunteer to look after the new girl. Sarah and I volunteered.
During break it felt different. It wasn't the same with the new girl. There was silence for  minutes  until the new girl asked"do you guys wanna come over this weekend?" Sarah Said she would love to. I was shocked because Sarah and I had a sleepover planned. How could she choose the new girl over me.

After school Sarah and I would walk home and stop at the ice cream store. We wouldn't walk in the morning because it used to be too cold. Today Sarah didn't walk with me she jumped in with the new girl and her mom. She didn't even say bye to me or give me a hug like always. She probably went home with the new girls because they neighbour's

Now I had to walk all alone. On the way I stopped at the ice cream store but I realized I didn t have money to buy any as Sarah would usually buy  for us.  I ran home into my room and shut my door

I gave Sarah a call but she didn't answer. She was probably spending time with the new girl . I was jealous. I asked mom if I could got over to the new girls house on Saturday but she looked at me with a frown. She than told me that  my teacher called her and told her what lie I had told. I was in Bigg trouble!

Mum said I was grounded for 4 weeks and I couldn't leave the house besides for school

Tears began to drip from my eyes
