"So..." I started, as we were about only a block away from my living space. It's just felt like it's been awhile even though it's been probably under an hour just walking beside him. I mean I just met him for crying out loud. It a weird feeking for me not to have him come inside. I always told myself that I shouldn't invite people into my place but I had the urge to do so.

"So what?" Kevin looked to me, nudging me with his body.

"Uhm..." I looked to him, my hand fiddled with his umbrella too because I wanted to hold it with him. "I don't know..." My sigh indicated that I gave up on trying to say something. His laugh was cute, grazing his thumb over my hand. "I don't want you to leave."

"A little sad if you don't want me to." He laughed, as we crossed the street to my block. "I'm not good company."

"Yeah, you are terrible."

"Feck off."

Silence as I couldn't do anything else since my apartment was right here. He pulled me to the side, leaning against the wall next to my door. He continued to hold my hand more, tighter than before. My stomach clenched as I wanted him to come inside. This man I met an hour ago could be a murderer being super nice to me. Kevin glanced to me, stracthing his chin and smiled.

Fuck it.

If I don't do it, I don't think a text would get us to met again or havr this great of a talk again.

"So, would you like to come inside, Kevin?" I offered, his body jumped and he lit up.

"I do!" He grinned, but then coughed and brushed his hair back. "I mean, sure..." Kevin calmed down for me leading me to regret doing this. "At least until the rain stops." His hands swapped and he grabbed onto my hand, loosely squeezing me. "Or do you want to go out? I don't have to go in, you look a little concern." Kevin was nice about it and not just creepy anymore either.

"I mean, the rain can't last forever." I said, as I start pulling out my keys with the hand Kevin wasn't holding. We entered the building, shot landlord was here. I tried to avoid eye contact because people weren't allowed to bring random people home. As he was turned around, I pulled Kevin to the stairwell.

"What'cha think you're doing?" My landlord asked, looking to Kevin. "Whose this?"

"Well-"

"I was asking the boy." He pointed to him.

Kevin was surprised, but answered a lie anyways. "I'm her boyfriend." He said calmly. "I let her borrow my sweater and I need it back." His voice trembled, he was not a very good liar.

"You wouldn't mind pecking her on the lips would ya'?" He leaned on the counter waiting for us.

"I'm not forcing a girl to kiss me, I'm disgusting enough as it is." He said, pulling me in the stairwell.
