{DELTARUNE} Jevil X Reader

We can finally play!

You were walking down a strange hallway.
There was this urge inside you that screamed at you to go back, but you were also desperate to see what was down this hallway.

It eventually came to an end when there was a giant prison cage with no door.

You looked through the door.
You saw a small jester-shaped figure sitting down and toying with its hat.

It finally turned around and saw you and it jumped up in joy and whizzed right to where you were, on the other side.

"Joy! Joy! Finally, I have company! Now we can play!" It cheered in a mechanical voice.

You looked at its appearance through the bars.

It's body and clothing were mostly black and there were little yellow bells attached to both ends of its purple and black jester hat, it's face blue-ish grey and black whites with white pupils, and a green and yellow.. (I have no idea what the name of the thing is JUST LOOK UP A PICTURE OF JEVIL-) And it had a j-shaped tail.

He bounced with happiness.
"I'm Jevil! And we can finally play!"

"But your locked in."

"Yes!.. there is a prison key, broken into three pieces.. go find them, unlock me, and I can be free! Free!"

You stood with a unsure face, and Jevil's smile dropped a little.

"Don't you wanna play? I have a game for us! Unlock me, and we can play, play!"

You nodded your head after hesitating, and you told him you will be back.

First key..

You were wondering were the first part of the key was..

(Me too, because I haven't really watched the fight  enough, so I'm not really sure.. i remember Seam telling us were one was and he told us his story of Jevil. And then I think I remember them going through Scarlet Forest.. but since I don't know, I'm just gonna guess.

Sorry ;-; (I wasn't prepared for this story but idgaf)

You walked all the way to Seam and asked about the key pieces.
"Oh.. key pieces? For who?"
"Jevil. The guy behind the bars."
"I remember Jevil.. he used to be my friend. But then he started changing, seeing the world as a game and the citizens as their contestants. Then it got out of control, and he was locked up. But I know where a piece of a key is."

He handed you a piece of a key.

"Take this. Oh, and before you leave- if your unlocking Jevil, don't let him escape, or don't go in. He's dangerous.. be careful out there."

You left and you just went to go find other pieces in other places.

-time skip 30 minutes later-

You finally found the last piece. You clutched all three pieces in your hand and you walked out of where you found the last piece- the castle. (Ik probably not true but it's my fault for not properly knowing)

Down the path you go..

Past trees.. and hills.. oh, is that Ralsei?
Eh. Keep going.

You made it back to Jevil in 6 minutes.

"Do you have the key pieces, young lightener?"

You held up the key pieces, and they magically formed together into a cracked, rusted prison key.

He leaped with joy.

"Oh boy, oh boy! We can finally play my game!!"

You put the key towards a part of the door, usually where the door knob would be, but then it magically formed a door, and it opened on its own.

You walked in.

The room was dimly lit,
It was a circle shaped room with blue and purple striped walls. And there was Jevil, on the other side.

He had a smile plastered on his face. He was so excited to see you..

"Hooray! Hooray! Now we can play my game!!"

You didn't notice this before when you were looking at him through the bars but his eyes were sort of glowing white, and when he talked, his tongue kind of glowed too. Strange.

"What kind of game are we gonna play?"

Before Jevil spoke again, he giggled to himself and a purple and green weapon came flying down. (Devilsknife)

He had a menacing smile, with sharp, yellow teeth, and he was continuously laughing.

"MY GAME!"
