It was another exhausting night, Yeonwoo could swear that her soul left her body due to exhaustion.

She wanted to sleep but she got a call from Nancy and she knew she couldn't resist.

She would risk her health just to talk to her princess, so she faked a smile for Nancy not to worry.

"Hey princess, what's up?" Yeonwoo beamed as she saw Nancy through the screen.

"Nothing, can you come back home now?" She said with a pout making Yeonwoo's heart flutter.

"Why? is someone missing me from home?" She teased the younger.

"I...uh... n-no."

"Okay then, I don't see the point on going back home."

She was trying to stop herself from cracking a smile when she saw a frown on Nancy's face.

"fine, I miss you, please come back home."

A huge grin was plasted on Yeonwoo's face, "Aw princess I know you do,  just wait a few more days."

"You look so tired, I'm sorry for disturbing you."

"You know I'll always make time for you." She winked earning an eye roll from Nancy.

They both went about their day and told each other stories, basically enjoying each others presence.

The two talked and laughed for at least about an hour but it soon stopped when Yeonwoo realized something.

"Hey, can you turn some of your lights on?"

Nancy asked confused, "Why? I look like trash like now."

"Just do it princess, and no, you look perfectly fine."

Nancy couldn't say no so she walked up and turned on the lights.

And that's when it hits her, she wasn't at home.

"What's that on your neck and whose shirt are you wearing?"

In that moment, Nancy knew she was fucked.

"I-I...uhh... I'm at hom–"

Just then, she was cut off by the knock of the door.

"Someone's knocking, go answer it."

Nancy nervously nodded as she stood up and answer the door.

While Yeonwoo stayed and waited for Nancy, curious on who was on the other side of the door.

Suddenly her train of thought were cut off when she heard faint voices.

"baby, come on let's watch the movie."

"j-just wait for m-minute."

In that moment Yeonwoo's body went stiff and frozen, she couldn't process what was happening.

She felt like fainting in her spot, she wanted to think that what she heard was all a dream, but no, it was the reality.

She knew she didn't have the rights to be mad but she couldn't help but feel her world breaking down.

Nancy went pale as she went back and saw the expression on Yeonwoo's face.

"Wow."

"w-wait I c-can explai–"

"Save it Nancy, we're not dating anyway." Her words felt like stabs to Nancy.

"Yeonwoo please."

She laughed bitterly, "You know, I expected this to happen but why does it still feel like shit?"

She knew this was going to happen, she was going to break her own heart again.

"Yeonwoo please don't say that..."

Yeonwoo's feelings were all over the place, she felt anger, sadness and frustration.

Mostly frustrated at herself for getting too attached to a person who wouldn't catch her.

While Nancy felt like a complete asshole, she knew Yeonwoo didn't deserve this but she was just as scared as Yeonwoo.

They were both scared of falling in love.

"Do you want anything serious with me? or am I just a game to you?" She sounded so broken that it hurts Nancy's soul to hear her that way.

"I d-don't know."

Yeonwoo went silent, she knew it was bond to happen but it hurts like hell.

This was what she avoided the most, getting too attached and hurting.

What hurts the most is, she didn't have the right to be hurt because she knew they were nothing.

She was too dumb to think that Nancy felt the same way as her.

"I'm willing to wait for you Nancy but just tell me if you're just using me. I'm so tired of being used and hurt."

She risked the thought of loving all for Nancy and now she was facing her consequences.

She thought Nancy would catch her but this was Yeonwoo's reality, this is why she was so afraid to love.

"I'm so sorry, I just don't know what I want right now."

Yeonwoo sucked in a breath, she was so close to breaking down.

"It's okay Nancy, I guess I better go to sleep. Have fun watching your movie, your boy is waiting for you."

"Wait Yeonw –"

"And by the way, nice hickey."

call ended
