Maya and Ryder met on vacation, not knowing anything about each other's lives. However, when Maya's parents decided to move from New York to California, she never imagined her vacation hookup would be her new school's resident bad boy.
Today was the dreaded moving day, all our stuff was already shipped out to our new house, so all we needed to take now was ourselves, i was so unbelievably scared what if i don't fit in with the new crowd that was going to surround me when i start my new school. My thoughts were interrupted by my dad shouting at me to come down, i started to make my way down the stairs and into the kitchen, "yes da... AGHHH!!" i screamed as i saw my best friend, Ella sitting on a stool near the kitchens island. I ran up to her and gave her a big hug "what are you doing here , i thought you was at your dads," i say pulling away from the hug and then pulling up a chair to sit next to her. "you really think id let you leave without me say goodbye, what sort of friend do you take me for?" she says laughing. Even though i knew i was going to talk to her everyday and she was going to see me in the summer, i couldn't help but feel like this was the end of something. We talked for a few hours about how mine her spring break was without each other, i told her about Ryder and how beautiful Mexico was. Soon enough it was time for me to go, we hugged like our life depended on it, god i was going to miss her.
Me, my mom and dad were sitting in the first class lounge waiting for our plane to depart, i put in my headphone while editing an Instagram post to drown out the talk of how "amazing" our new life in California is going to be. I hope they're right.

I smiled at all the comments i was reading on my goodbye post, but when i read Ella's tears start to form in my eyes, she's been there for me through thick and thin, to go from seeing each other everyday from once in a blue moon is going to be hard. I turned my phone off and started to head for the plane as it was time to board. We got greeted with a glass of champagne, perks of being first class i guess, and then seated to our pods. Began to look through the shows i had downloaded on my laptop, i knew this flight was going to be long so i thought i'd binge watch a few shows. As i just finished watching 'All American' our flight was about to land. I was excited but frightened, i don't know how i was feeling. It wasn't a dream anymore, it was now a reality.
Told you i would get this chapter out Friday 😂 this is my first time doing social media in a story, so tell me your thoughts. i haven't really got any news except the next chapter won't be out as quick as the last two.
