Jason's pov

I walked into the living room where Nico was.

"Hey, um Neeks? I said nervously.

"Yeah? what's up?" he said kissing my cheek.

"Um I need to talk to you..." I dint want to tell him but that's not me to lie to someone.

"What is it?" he asked continuing to unpack.

"It's about Piper,"

Nico turned his head towards me.

"And?" he asked.

"I, um, know who the father is..."

"Ok, that's good I guess, who is he?"

I swallowed.

"Its um, it's.... its me,"

Nico dropped a glass vase that was in his hands.

"What?" he asked still staring at the glass shards on the floor.

"Piper kid is mine too. I'm the dad Nico,"

Nico turned towards me. his expression full of sympathy and sorrow.

"I get it Jason, your breaking up with me so you can help Piper. I understand, you just don't want your kid to be without parents. I understand I would have done the same..." he looked down at his shoes.

"But Nico i..." I tried to explain that I don't want to leave him.

"Save it Grace, I understand you need to give up on something to gain, so your giving up on me... I understand," tears where filling his eyes. He walked out the room.
