"I'm going to receive my nine lives from StarClan." Shouted Heron. At once the clan like cats ran over from their nests they made. "Raven will be in charge until I get back. Silverfall you will come with me. Everything understood??" They nodded. And with that Heron and Silverfall was off.

Heron and Silverfall padded through TreeClan's forest and wadded in WillowClan's streams and through the hot, musty swamps and trees of FireClan.
They lived on the outskirts of WillowClan. Instead of cutting through WillowClan and going to the moors, they made an circle to get to the Clear Pool.

Silverfall kept looking at Heron along the way especially when they came through TreeClan's territory and how he knew where everything was. He smelled a patrol of TreeClan's warriors and they went in a different direction. They ended up coming beside TreeClan's camp and he looked long and hard before turning abruptly and storming off, pelt bristled.

Silverfall who was originally from WillowClan, had frequently associated with TreeClan and their medicine cat, Poppysong. Poppysong came from WillowClan but was banished because she failed to save a mother and her kits. The leader of WillowClan felt like that it wasn't Poppysong's fault but her clan had abruptly told her them or the medicine cat.

Heron continued with his brisk pace before stopping suddenly.
"Cats." He mewed. "Two loners maybe." He whispered softly and turned his head to the right. He saw a barn and went to it. "We'll stay here for the night Silverfall." She nodded and her blue eyes carefully swept over the barn.

"The two loners are here." He said. Then there was an audible thud behind them and they turned with wide eyes.

In front of them was a solid black tom with white paws and amber eyes, a light gray she-cat with blue eyes and a chocolate brown tom with a white muzzle and yellow eyes.

"Circle them!" Yowled the solid black tom.

"But Night, you can clearly see that their tired." Mewed the light gray she-cat. "Please Bray! Tell your son to let them stay."

The chocolate brown tom looked slightly at his son before turning around. "He's your problem. Don't beat him to bad son." He chuckled softly then padded off.

Night looked at the two cats before pouncing on Silverfall sensing she was the weakest. Heron jumped on his back and grabbed his scruff and flung him off and he went crashing onto the floor.

He got up and shook his head before launching himself at Heron but he sidestepped and Night's claws only hit air. He recovered quickly and did a back slash and gave Heron two deep gashes on his face.

"Stop!" Shouted the light gray she-cat. "Night! Please! Do it for me!"

He saw the concern in her eyes and nodded. He had a nick in his ear and his eye was bleeding. Silverfall padded over and checked his wounds before twitching her tail and beckoned Heron over.

"Go get some cobwebs." She told him and he went out into the forest mumbling inaudibly.
"You there." She pointed her tail towards the light gray she-cat. "What's your name??"

She looked surprised but mumbled softly, "It's Whiteheart." She walked up to Silverfall and looked her in the eyes. "I'm a clan cat."

"I see. Well you should know the basics of medicine shouldn't it??" Whiteheart nodded and walked off.

"As for you, you fox-heart! If you're traveling with her you should know better than to fight a medicine cat." Silverfall mewed softly.

Night looked down ashamed but that was quickly replaced with anger. He abruptly got up and stalked away yowling over his shoulder, "There's plenty of mice here for you and that tom."
