A new beginning

The battle part two(Chapter fifteen)

Thunder boomed loudly as Falconclaw raced forward and pounced on Tigerstripe who shoved him away in the nick of time.

Foxstar and Driftfur stared at their former clanmates as they growled lowly. Driftfur jumped first. He swiped in midair at Blackpelt and Thistlepaw intercepted his mentor's strike and stared him down.

Foxstar eyes shone with malice as he swiped at Blaze who had his back turned. Yellowpaw mewed loudly as her father went down unmoving and Snowpaw and Graypaw of TreeClan rushed over seeing the action unfold before their eyes.

Graypaw slowed down a bit as Yellowpaw rushed past him and jumped on Foxstar but was shoved off and she hit the ground with a thump.
Snowpaw's green eyes narrowed as she pounced too but Driftfur jumped in front of her.

Graypaw made his way over to his father and just stared at his body. "Blaze...get up..."

Briarlight, Skyheart and Blackpelt ran over to assist him. Blaze stirred slightly as his mouth moved, "Red! Red! He's all right!" Graypaw mewed softly before turning around and jumping to help his sisters' out.

Bumblestar flicked his tail anxiously as Dapplestar fought Heronstar viscously, striking him with strike after strike. Gingerfoot, who proved his loyalty time and time again, intervened. "I won't let you harm my leader! This isn't Dapplestar when I was apprenticed and made into an young warrior!"

"Fish-brain! He sheltered a murderer! She killed your mother and sister!"

Gingerfoot lowered his tail slowly before snarling, "They went into the unforgivable rivers that surrounds the camp. Lightfur tried to rescue Pebblekit but they both was swept away! Silverfall tried to save them but couldn't! I should've spoke up when you exiled her but now all three of them are dead!"

Heronstar sat up panting heavily as realization dawned in his eyes as he remembered what Silverfall told him when he first her.

Bumblestar growled lowly before soaring over Gingerfoot and attacking Dapplestar. Heronstar soon did the same.

Pike and Arnie was surrounded by the apprentices of all the Clans. Pike rushed them all as Arnie calculated their moves before launching himself.

Blizzardpaw, Brindlepaw and Eaglepaw gave their all against Arnie. Adderpaw, Frostpaw, Rainpaw,  Smokepaw, Blackpaw, Hazelpaw and Nightpaw assisted Graypaw of WillowClan and Brownpaw as they fought Pike.

"Why are you helping Raven out?! He's gonna kill all of us when he gets the chance!" Adderpaw yowled as he struck Pike's left flank and the black and white tom turned quickly.

"He's gotta plan, young one. You'll see one day." He was then struck by Rainpaw, Smokepaw and Frostpaw on his back. "Arnie! Help me! Stop standing there!"

Arnie chuckled as he blocked attacks and strikes left and right. "Kinda busy right now rat-brain! These youngings are proving to be more than what we was told."

"There was an inside source?! Who?!" Brownpaw gasped.

"Uh uh little one, our secret stays a secret."

Moonfur stalked around as she jumped on Lilystream and started churning her back but was pulled off by Dawnpool.

She got up and stared with wide eyes.

Dawnpool stood protectively in front of Lilystream who shakily got to her paws with hurt in her eyes.

"So," she panted, "you're really choosing Raven over us?? Your two bestfriends??"

Moonfur flicked her eyes back between the two as she backed away slowly.

"Answer me Moon! Why'd you leave your kits?? In the freezing cold!" Dawnpool shouted as the hurt in her voice came out.
