In the Beginning the water was the first thing to change, as the ground began to trembled below the feet of every living creature the essence of hell itself began to rise. the water came to slow as it became red, viscus and boil as if nature herself was busting at the seems with anger. the fish began to die almost immediately shores and inlets filled with a morbid sight of aquatic life heaped in piles of blood covered meat that had been boiled alive. In the weeks to follow land animals would start to perish, lack of fresh water and food sources drove most predatory animals to desperately attack humans. in the months to follow natural disasters struck, twisters with winds that tore metal and ripped up the earth itself. Eruptions that drowned everything they touched in ash and fire, and floods of boiling thick red water that would swallow entire cities. Then came the worst of all as the sky itself began to cry and scream the pain of what felt like existence itself being torn apart. earthquakes ripped open the flesh of the earth leaving scars that seemed to open strait to the underworld nothing but a black abyss that at first look seemed endless. the months to follow were calm and the surviving creatures began to find a way to live again, more than eighty percent of all life had been lost but the will to survive never wavered driving life to continue the best it could. just five months after everything had begun if life had not have been through enough the scars left behind by the earthquakes started to glow, the sky became dark and lit by a now red sun, it was now the time of nightmares everything dark and twisted would now pour forth onto the world just as hope would start to be restored in life.
(From here we move to six months after the world had begun to end, a small two bedroom house near the Missouri-Arkansas border.)
"Gooood morning me!" Bala exclaimed with a childlike innocence as she awakened from a great night of sleep. sitting up in her bed she looked around her room overjoyed in the fact that she had so many beautiful things ( the house she was living in was Burt almost completely just parts of walls and charred furniture remained, though surprisingly her bed was completely untouched.) she stood up and began to undress letting the soft silky folds of her silken night gown (burn holes and all) fall to her feet before approaching her wardrobe. she grabbed a simple cotton shirt and slipped it down over her chest letting out a relived sigh.(not noticing it almost got caught on her horns) she then completed her morning routine brushing her teeth and fixing her hair making sure to take a little time to appreciate how cute she was (in a mirror frame that the mirror had broken out of) and to finish it all off she washed her face (with the boiling red liquid that came from the faucet) "today will be a great day, now it's time to get some breakfast" she said proudly as she slapped her hands to her cheeks. after dressing and grabbing her phone off the charger ( the phone didn't even turn on anymore and was plugged into a wall outlet on a missing wall) she started off to the rest of the house (opening the door to her bedroom that didn't exist) "good morning mom, ill be back later" she sings happily as she skips to the front door. "have a good day and be safe dear" her mother replies ("i am a male you half breed stop calling me mom!" a large demon growled back at her) "thanks mom!" she shouted as she spun past the front door onto the porch taking in a deep breath of the fresh morning air. (the air was stale and filled with the smell of fire, blood, and soot) Bala continued her way to town taking in all the beautiful trees and neighbors in the town she grew up in. (most trees were charred beyond recognition and her "neighbors" were demons looking for human survivors) "what a beautiful place to live." she said softly before stopping outside Mr. Cummins house waiting for his dog to come greet her as it ran toward the fence. ( the dog was really a hell hound) excited she reached over the fence and picked up the small dog ( hell hounds are about 180 pounds) she hugged the dog gently as it licked her face. ( it was trying to bite her face as she held it tight enough to keep it from breathing) "How are you today lady Bala" Mr. Cummins shouted walking down the sidewalk towards her with groceries (Mr. Cummins was a demon that raised the hell hounds and was bringing them raw meat and what he really said was "i told you to stay away from my dogs half demon") excited she softly tossed the dog back into the enclosure (threw it hard enough it was impaled on the iron poles around the front porch) "i am wonderful today, i have to go though" she said in a sad tone. "that's ok come by anytime you like" ("what the hell Bitch!, MY DOG!) Mr.Cummins replied joyfully. "thank you" Bala exclaimed as she skipped away down the sidewalk. She reached the middle of town and stopped mortified by what she saw, a large banner hung across the street in front of the supermarket (the banner was really human skin and entrails stitched together as a warning this was a demon controlled town) "A SALE!!!???"
