" Blaine, it's so nice to finally meet you my dear!"I'm pulled into open arms and barely have enough time to hug her back before she pulls away. Her eyes trek down my face before look back at my eyes. I feel my whole face burn at the thought of her looking at me.
This is going to be a long year...
" Oh dear me! Where are my manners. I'm Katherine- Ann but you can call me kath." Mrs Cunningham steps back to make space between us. She gives me a warm smile before gesturing to the boys behind her.
" These are my son's. The two oldest are Lucus and Marshall." The two teens give me calulatining stares before blonde tips comes forward. He's a lot bigger up front and towers over both Mrs Cunningham and I.
He holds out his arm, leaving his huge hand hanging awkwardly in-between us. I stare at it. He coughs.
" Hi, I'm Lucas. I'm the cooler one of the pair" he gives me a mischievous wink and wide smile. I stiffly take his large hand in mine.
" Blaine Henning. Nice to meet you Lucas." I give him a sheepish smile before retracting my hand. His hand lingers between us for a moment before it falls next to him. He looks down at me as if expecting something.
" Marshall, come and introduce yourself please!" Mrs Cunninghams voice cuts through the tension in the air. My head snaps to look at the other figure making his way over. Now it's two giants looming over me instead of one.
The figure who I assume is Marshall sticks his out stiffly in front of me.
" Pay no attention to what he says. I'm the better twin." I stiffle a laugh at how serious he sounds before shaking his hand. His face breaks into a friendly grin and shakes my hand softly.
" Nice to meet you Marshall." I smile as I drop my hand.
"Likewise, Miss Henning." He gives me a mock bow and grins at me. I push back a blush as I laugh.
"Blaines fine." He gives me a short nod before falling back next to his twin brother. Lucas shoots him a playful glare and lightly punches Marshall's arm.
" Oh I've been wounded! Why have you forsaken me like this, dear brother of mine?" Marshall lifts his other hand to his head and dramatically acts like he's been shot.
I can't hold back anymore and laugh out loud. Automatically my hand shoots up and covers my mouth.
" Boys please keep the flirting for home. I'm sure Blaine doesn't want all this unnecessary attention," Katherine smiles warmly at us before turning around. The younger boy of the three is standing behind her staring down at his phone. He seems to concentrated on what's on his phone to realise that we are all staring at him.
" Caleb, please would you come and introduce yourself to Blaine." Katherines tone seems forced as she stares at her youngest son. He looks up at her with a bored expression before turning to look at me. His eyes scan my whole body before he gives an unimpressed sigh. Rude.
" I'm Caleb. Nice to meet you." He says as he looks back down at his phone screen. Seriously? What's his deal?
"Blaine." I say in an overly sweet voice. At my tone Caleb looks back up at me and glares. Damn, what's he upset about now?
" You know sarcasm is the lowest form of wit," he says cockily as he puts his phone into his hoodie pocket. He walks towards me like a preditor circling it's prey.
" Yet it's still a form of wit, is it not?" I shoot back. He made a big mistake if he thought he could walk all over me.
We glare at each other longer before Marshall speaks up.
"Dude, play nice. She's a guess of ours," he awkwardly laughs. Katherine looks between the two of us before sighing.
" Caleb if you could please be nice to Blaine, I would highly appreciate it. Please be a gentleman and help her this year." She gives him a pointed look before turning to me. She gives me a tired smile before clapping her hands together.
" Well! Best be on our way! It's a long drive back home and I'm sure we can get to know eachother better in time."
We all agree and start moving towards the exit. I grip my backpack arms tighter as I think about the car ride to come.***A/N***
