Susan took us in her mini van and dropped us off. Don't think I didn't see the way she looked at us through her rear view mirror. We got there and Anne lightly held the handles on the back of my wheelchair since I wasn't sure if I could go up the ramp completely on my own, but it ended up being not too bad. I didn't want to go on the sand, just because I wasn't in for a bumpy ride. But in the end, it was a bumpy ride I got. We sat for while in silence, listening to the crashing waves. It was really relaxing. I looked over to Anne, to see that she looked lost in thought, kind of tense. "Hey, is everything okay?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. I was just wondering something, but I'm not sure if I should ask." Anne is a very polite person. She knows what's none of her business and she knows that if people don't want to share, you should stop asking. Not like my other friends who used to bother me all the time. Which is the reason I decided that whatever she asked, I'll answer it.
