Shawn's POV
Once I get out of the shower I pick out what I'm going to wear.(outfit above) Now that I'm dressed I meet my family in the living room.
"Hey guys." I said smiling.
"Hey my handsome son." My mom says while giving me a hug and kiss on my cheek.
"Hey pal." My dad says while patting my back.
"About time I'm starving!" Aaliyah says jumping off the couch.
"Love you too, Aaliyah!" I said sarcastically.
We all get in my Jeep and go to Olive Garden. The ride there was pretty quite until my song, stitches, came on the radio.
"Awe. Shawn I remember when you wrote this song. I haven't heard it in forever. I'm so proud of my babies. I love both of you. I love you Manuel." My mum says through teary eyes and kisses my dad.
"Ew no PDA or audio, please!" Aaliyah says sarcastically.
We arrive at Olive Garden and get seated immediately since I made reservations while I was getting ready. As we take a seat I see Leah walk through the door. When she sees me I flash her a smile and she does the same. My mum notices and gives me a look.
"Who's that?" She asks.
"That is one of my students. Her name is Leah." I replied.
"Oh. Well, you should invite her over here so you can meet her parents." She says.
She's with Cameron so I wave him over so that it's not as weird. He comes over.
"Hey man! How's it going?" He says while shaking my hand.
"I'm good. How are you?" I ask.
"I'm good."
"Do you and your family want to come join us?"
"Sure why not." He waves them down and they take a seat.
We introduce everyone to each other. After, we laugh and order dinner. The seating arrangement to my left is Leah, Cameron, and Sierra. Brent is at the end of the table. Down the table sitting next to Brent is Gina, Aaliyah, then across from me is my mom. Next to me on my right is my dad. I lay my hand on Leah's thigh and I can feel her tighten her body to my touch. Damn she's beautiful. She tried to push my hand away because Cameron was next to her but I don't budge.
Soon our food comes and we start eating. Once we finish dinner the waitress comes back and asks if we want any dessert. We all say no. So, she brings us our check. We pay and get up to leave.
"It was nice seeing you again man." Cameron says.
"You too. I'll see you tomorrow I guess." I say shaking his hand.
"Yeah well I got to get going."
"Bye. Bye Leah I'll see you tomorrow too." I say smiling.
"Yes sir. Goodbye and goodnight Mr. Mendes." She says smiling.
"No need to be so formal we aren't at school you can call me Shawn."
"Well then goodbye Shawn. I'll see you tomorrow." She shakes my hand and I slip a piece of paper in her hand.

Sorry for being so late on posting I didn't write because I was with family and Black Friday shopping. I finally had some down time so here's chapter 5. Ive never written this many chapters. I've only ever written 2 and quit because I hated the story. I am obsessed with this one so there's more to come. Be prepared some shit is going to go down in the future. Happy readings. 😊
