The ground trembled as the beasts pawsteps shook it. Blue scales glittered against the sun, blinding any man, beast or thing that happens to have the unfortunate of glancing upon them. If, by some magical force they weren't blinded their eyes would surely be broken if they cast them on the golden stripes that laced her body and wings. Of course, the sharp-minded female had the ability to turn it on and off by will.
Right now she had a worried frown on her face as her footsteps strode, covering many meters at a time, heading with one destination in her mind. The barren wasteland. That was the only place big enough for two giants to meet. If they were to fight Tiamat was confident she could win. Her black optics narrowed as she thought about who she was meeting. Baku. She didn't know much about him but what she knew was that he dominated her in size and strength. What she also didn't know was what type of powers he had, and that really worried her.
"Now what would he want to talk about?" She muttered to herself, swishing her tail and squinting against the hot sun. Her stomach rumbled and she scowled down at it. It protested again and she sighed and rolled her eyes. It was her stomach after all.
She raised her neck and scanned the surroundings. Except for the sun she could see nothing, which didn't really surprise her. It was a barren wasteland. What could there be to mark?
Then she heard it. It was very very quiet and faint, but her sensitive ears picked it up quickly. It sounded like a little baby animal, which one she did not know. But it was big, she could tell by the thunking and shaking of the ground beneath her feet.
She followed her senses until she got to a very weird creature. It's skin was grey, light, and it had giant ears and short legs. And it's nose stuck out about half a meter. Inside its ears it was pink. The sound was coming from it.
Tiamat pounced and slaughtered it and with some skill and clever maneuvering didn't get any blood on her. She didn't want to look messy as she met Baku. First impressions, right?
Yeah, right.
The smell tempted her and jolted her out of her thoughts, and she buried her face in the fresh meat and began to feed.

A few moments later there was a thunderous growl and a shadow that blocked out the sun. She shrugged, thinking that it was simply a thundercloud that would pass, so she paid it no attention. Then the stormcloud picked her up and and she yelped and dropped the meat.
"What the-?"
"You are hunting in my territory." A deep voice boomed, shaking her bones, and she immediately she knew who it was.
Baku.
And she had just hunted in his hunting grounds.
Wait.
She frowned.
"This isn't your territory. Everyone can share it. There isn't even any border for you to mark!" She protested, the gave a small bark in surprise as he dropped her. She quickly got to her feet and turned to look at him. As soon as she cast her gaze over his body her confidence crumbled and she realized that there was absolutely no chance for her to win. He was at least twice the size of her and full of muscle. But she had to try, at least.
"You're Baku." She said, opting against a simple hi.
He nodded. "And you're Tiamat." She mumbled her agreement. "Wow. They told me you would be small, but they didn't tell me you would be that small."
"Hey now, I'm pretty big!" She snapped back, then realized the mistake. Of course to him she would be tiny. He blocked out the sun for her and he could probably use her for weightlifting.
"Yeah, um, Baku, someone told me you wanted to talk?" She decided to change the topic. He relaxed slightly.
"Yes, I did. I'm here to talk about this land."
"Then talk about it."
"It belongs to me." He snarled. She shrugged. "Okay?" Replied with a frown. "Why?"
"See, There was this feud between my family and yours. The feud was about territory. Started long, long time ago. My brother fought your brother previously about it. Now it's my turn. But since you're a female, I choose not to fight. If you want to, I'll gladly comply. But you don't seem like you want to, so I won't." He said, sitting down and curling his tail, glancing at her through narrowed eyes.
She blinked. She was scared of him and had no idea whatsoever he was talking about, and she really didn't fancy a fight now so she let it go. "Alright. You can have this."
"You sure about this? Your parents and family won't be happy about you simply giving me this. Remember this feud has been going on for generations. This land is rich and powerful if you know what to do with it." He said. She dipped her head, unsure what to do. She had no clue what this feud was about but if the land really was that important then she shouldn't give it up.
"I think I'll fight you for it." She said. His muscles visibly tensed. "You sure?" "I mean, if this land really is that important then yes?"
Before she could finish he was already on her, had her face in the ground and his maw against her neck, against the bone.
"This could hurt unless you cooperate." He murmured into her scales, mounting her flank with two paws, the spikes in his tail digging into her wings. "Give up. You'll never beat me. You've got little experience." His deep voice washed over her, the vibrations running through her bones. She winced; his claws were sinking through her armor into her skin. "No. I. Can't let your take it." He snarled and pressed deeper, the spike in his chin digging into her throat. His claws latched onto her skin and she felt warmth seeping through the pricks. It couldn't be actual blood, he wouldn't go this far, would he? Then again he did say he would fight her for it.
He rested all his weight on her tiny body.
"Ow, okay. You win. Take this place! Take the land!" Her orbs stung with unshed tears. "Take it, Don't hurt me please! It hurts!" She yelped, maw parting. Her brain was clouding up, he really was serious about this fighting thing. "Take it!"
