The One

Prologue

Ok so this is my very first time writing anything like this and i decided it would be fun to try so just bare with me. Thanks:)

*3 year earlier*

     Why are you doing this to me, to us!? "We can find a way to make this work." I say.

      "It's not as simple as that and you know it. I'm doing this because I don't want to hurt you." He explains to me.

      And as much as I hate to admit he's right, it doesn't make things any easier. He is the only guy I've ever really loved and knowing he is going off to college and I'm stuck here for another year makes things even worse.

    "listen I want what's best for you and this isn't any easier for me than it is for you,' we both knew this was bound to happen and there is nothing we can do except let go"

     And with that said I run my hands through his luscious brown hair and stare into his beautiful brown eyes for the last time, when I hear him whisper for the very first time "I love you Alexis, and nothing can every change that."
