The Night

<Kaylee's POV>

I wake to my alarm ringing. I check my phone to see what day it was. It was Saturday. Today was my date with Zach. I went to the bathroom to take a shower. After that, I did my normal make-up routine, and put my hair in a messy bun. I changed into a minecraft shirt and some jean shorts. I put my sandles on and go eat at The Joint.

I arrive at the diner and sit at a table. A teenage girl comes and takes my order. While I wait for my food, I go on my phone and watch Zach's new video. As I watch his video, I had a flashback of me and Zach.

-Flashback to a recording-

"Graser someone is killing me!!"

"I'm coming Kaylee!"

"Half a heart, half a heart!"

"Got him."

"Thanks."

"Don't worry I'll always protect you."

I blush at what he said. For the rest of the game, Zach protected me from people trying to kill us. Zach let me win because he was "bad" at the game.

-Present time-

I snap out of my flashback because my food finally arrived. I checked my phone to see what time it is. It was 2 pm. I had a few hours before my date. I ate my food and went home.

-Time skip-

It was 5 o'clock. I had 2 hours to get ready.

I took a quick shower and did my make-up. I put on my dress I bought with Abby two days ago. I curled my long, brown hair. I grabbed my black clutch bag and put my usual stuff in it. I waited for Zach to come pick me up.

<Zach's POV>

I drove to Kaylee's apartment. I walked up to her door and knocked. She answered the door. Man, she looked gorgeous today.

She wore a very pretty, black cocktail dress.

"Hey, you look amazing!"

"Thanks, so do you Mr. Graser10." She said with a smirk.

We headed to my car and drove to a nice restaurant. We sat down at a table. We ordered our food and sat there silent, until I spoke first.

"I like your dress."

"Why thank you, kind sir."

"So I'm a kind sir?"

"Ya! You're Really fun to hang out with."

Our food arrives. We chat a bit while eating dinner.

-Time skip to end of dinner- (Sorry for a lot of skips)

We finish our dinner and head to my car. The sky was very beautiful today, so I decided I was going to take Kaylee to the park to see the shining moon and stars.

"Hey, where are we going?" She asks.

"We're going to the park."

"Why?"

"You'll see. Come on."

I grab Kaylee's hand and go to the swings where you can see the bright moon and stars. We sat on the swing sets and looked at the beautiful starts.

"Beautiful, right?"

"Ya."

I stare at her looking at her beautiful hair and smile. I just want to kiss her. She sees me staring at her.

"What are you looking at?"

"The most beautiful girl I've ever seen."

I saw her blush. I leaned in for a kiss. She started to lean in too, but I pulled away.

"Uh, It's getting late I should drop you off."

"O-Okay."

I dropped her off at her apartment.

"Thanks for today, it was really fun."

"Ya. See you around."

"Bye Zach."

"Bye Kaylee."

She left and went to her apartment. I drove to my house still thinking about what just happened with that almost kiss. I needed time to think.
