I Remember You (Part 1)

<Zach's POV>

-Weeks Later-

We've tried everything to get Kaylee's memories back. She managed to remember her family, but not her friends or even me.

Today was her last day in Canada. Tomorrow she had to leave to go to New York. We hope that the doctors there can get her memories back. I was really upset to here ths, but I knew this was for the best. I decided I wanted to hang out with Kaylee and Kyle today.

I get into my car and drive to the hotel they're staying at for today. I get on their floor and look for their room. I find it and knock.

<Kaylee's POV>

I wake up to knocking on the door. I groan and get out of my bed. I answer the door to see someone there. It took me awhile to recognize it was Zach.

"Um, hi Zach." I said giving him a little wave.

"Hey Kaylee! Um, since it's your last day here, I was wondering if Kyle and you would like to tour around Canada one last time."

"Ya sure. We'll meet you at the park at noon."

"Sounds good. I'll meet you there." I wave goodbye to Zach and check the time. It was 10 o'clock. I go to the bathroom to take a shower. I finish taking a shower and put on some shorts and a T-shirt. After that, i did my normal makeup routine.

I finish and It's already 11. I hear Kyle snoring so loud. Ugh, he is tough to take care of. I head over to where Kyle was.

"HEY KYLE, WAKE UP! WE'RE GOING TO MEET ZACH IN AN HOUR!" I yelled at him.

"Give me ten more minutes, please." He said still sleepy.

"No, you have to wake up." I said yanking his arm.

Kyle sat up. "How about this, you go see Zach."

"And? What about you?"

"And I'll be in bed sleeping."

"Well, you have fun spending your last time in Canada." I let go of his arm and I see him go back to his dreams. I grab my phone and put it in my shoulder bag. I say Goodbye to Kyle and of course he didn't hear me. I leave the hotel and start heading to the park.

I get to the park and see Zach sitting on the swings. I head over to him and sit next to him.

"Hey Kaylee! Um, where's your brother?"

"Oh you know, sleeping in bed."

"Oh well, that's what boys do."

"Haha ya. So..."

"So, you wanna grab something to eat?"

"Well I am getting a little hungry."

"So is that a yes?"

"Yup it is!"

"Come on let's go to The Joint!"

"I have no idea what that is, but okay!" We get off the swings and Zach grabs my hand. Suddenly I get a memory. It was at a shop, no a diner and I ran into a boy. I couldn't see his face, but he had brown hair and was a few inches taller than me.

"Kaylee, Hello?" Zach said waving his hand at my face.

"Ah, yeah. I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"Ya, I-I was just thinking about some stuff."

"Oh okay. Anyways here is The Joint!" He pointed at the diner.

"So this is The Joint?"

"Yup! Let's go inside." He grabs my hand again and leads me inside. We enter and it looked so familiar to my memory I had. We take a seat and order our food. While we wait for our food, Zach and I talked for a bit. He told me about his life and I talked about mine. This was really familiar to the boy I was talking to in my memory. Was it Zach? Or someone else? We eat our food and go to the carnival.

The carnival had lots of games we could play and even had a Ferris wheel! We played some games, but didn't win a single one. Zach then decided to play a basketball game because he thinks he's good at it, and believe it or not, he won. He won a Teddy bear.

"Here, so you won't forget this day when your gone." He said giving me the Teddy bear. I take it and look at it and back to Zach.

"Thanks Zach, I will definitely remember this!" I smiled at him and he smiled back. We finish at the carnival and it was already 6. Zach and I have been hanging out for 6 hours and I had a blast. We finish the day by going back to the park. We Once again sit on the swing sets and admire the moon and stars shining.

I get another memory and this time I saw the boy's face. I-It was Zach. We were at the same spot, admiring the sky. Then Zach almost kissed me, but he backed away. Woah, what was that? Was Zach and I more than friends? I need to figure out my history with Zach. I look at Zach who is just admiring the sky.

"Beautiful, right?" I was shocked. Did he see me staring at him? He looked at me. I give him a smile and look back at the sky.

"Ya, really pretty." I go on my phone to check the time. It was already 8 and I have to wake up early to catch my flight.

"Hey Zach, since I'm leaving tomorrow, you wanna come by the airport to say our last goodbyes?"

"Sure, I'll say Goodbye to your brother there too. Also, what time is your flight?"

"8, but I have to be there at like 6ish. It's getting late for me and I should be getting back to the hotel."

"I'll drop you off." He smiled again.

"Thanks Zach!" I smile back. Zach takes my hand and leads me to his car. We get in and dance to some music on the radio. Once we got back to the hotel, Zach wanted  to drop me off at my hotel door. We get in the elevator and go to the 6th floor. I see my hotel room and say Goodbye to Zach.

I still had the Teddy bear he won for me. He is so sweet. This whole day I have been smiling because Zach was with me. He made me laugh, smile. I couldn't believe this was my last time seeing him. I told myself that I would Never forget this day or Zach. I hope we'll be able to see each other again one day.

A/N: I finally updated! I didn't update last time because I had lost my progress and had to rewrite it. My last chapter was long so I had to make it into 2 parts. Hope you enjoyed!!
