Angel's POV
"Hi, Mr. Reed."
I jumped out of Tyler's arms and turned to face the voice behind us.
It was Claudia.
"Hello, Claudia," Tyler answered, still holding me by the waist. It was Friday afternoon, and he had come to pick me up from school. We couldn't help exchanging a few kisses in the parking lot after I shared the good news—I was three months pregnant!
"Ah. You two know each other." Claudia's eyes transferred from Tyler to mine. "No wonder you're blooming, Miss Kerr."
I grinned. "Thanks."
"You're a lucky man, Mr. Reed. The spell worked on you," Claudia said.
"You're right. It sure did," Tyler answered.
Two Years Later
Mom and Tyler prepared Christmas dinner in the kitchen while I played on the floor with our twins, Troy and Amelie, in the living room. They turned one four months ago. Troy was hyperactive while Amelie was a shy girl.
The twins were enjoying watching the Christmas lights when the doorbell rang. I opened the door and stood back in surprise. It was Tyler's mom and sister Beth.
"Merry Christmas, Angel." Tyler's mom said.
Beth smiled at me, holding gifts for us. From that moment on, I knew that they finally accepted us.
