I was walking here on our covered walk beside the 2nd year building, if you'd ask where my best friends are well they're kinda busy, so busy.

Lily on her theater practices, Natasha at the audio room for her recordings, Kira at the studio room for her ballet practice then me, hell I just came from the shooting room for being the model on our new magazine this month, this was all because of the upcoming school fest.

Almost all of our faculty and staff are so busy, then the next deal here inline to the activity mom is staying at her office for one week here at the center building so I can't do some foolishness now. But it's just a week.

"Oh here you are Ms. Aubrey! Your mom told me that you're having your lunch with her today. She's waiting you at her office." My mom's secretary informed and left. See? Here it starts, Aubrey. You'll be fine.

I sighed and continue my path towards the center building, as soon as I came near I heard some gossips from the group of some 3rd year students that made me stop my tracks.

"Did you know they're not just smart they're also effing hot!" The first girl said while giggling.

"Especially that Casper. God he's hot!" The other girl commented and started to hit someone.

I just rolled my eyes and passed by my mothers office to call someone that need to explain.
"Hi——" I cut him off.

"What hi? You didn't tell me that today was the Science Wiz!" I speak then I heard some voice on the other line.

"Calm down. Ok. Um we're near. Just wait there." He laughs. Crazy.

I calm myself "Did you take your lunch?" I asked out of the blue.

"Not yet, maybe after the contest."

"What! Ok good luck."
I don't know if I'm biased against my own school but I just became a supportive friend as I am.

"Thanks can we meet there....."
"But if your busy."

"No! Where?"

"Outside the conference Hall cause the Wiz will be held there."

"Ok thanks." I said while smiling ear to ear.

"In 20 minutes. My lucky charm." He said sweetly and dropped the line.

Oh men. Lucky charm? Am I charming? I'm insane!
I cupped my face and realized that it's burning hot. I know I'm blushing! I know I'm blushing!
Seems I don't need blush on anymore cause Casper would be enough.

I entered my mom's office without knocking manners.
"Mom?" I called while my eyes is searching throughout her office.

"I'm here darling!" She answered and I saw her at the back of cabinet files finding something.

I laughed softly "What are you finding mom?" I asked then she raised a grey envelope "Oh here it is."

I sat at the chair in front of her table and tapped my phone until someone knocks at the door.

"Maybe our lunch." Mom headed to the door and opened it. And she's right.

After I finished eating I excused myself to mom since 5 minutes from now is the time Casper told me.

"Do you have classes after?" Mom asked while sipping her pineapple juice.

"No mom. But I'm going to meet Casper at the conference Hall since he's one of the participant of the other school." I stated that made mom's brow meet later she smiled.

"Okay tell him good luck!"
Oh mom what are you doing? Your supporting him instead of our school? Cool!

I nod "Will do mom! Bye!" I waved my hands to the air and she smiled at me.

I walked towards the hall seeing lots of people entering on it. Then all I could hear from the people passes at me by:

"Hi Aubrey!"

"You look gorgeous!"

"Hello there!"

Again and again. I just gave them a weak smile and I continue to search on Casper in this very crowded place.

"Goodness!" I shouted when someone taps my shoulder. Oh God lots of people looking at me this is a shame. I just covered my mouth and turned back to see who the fuck shocked me.

As soon as I turned I saw Casper and some minions. Oh they are handsome guys. Gossips may tell truth sometimes.

"Did I shocked you?" He spoke up.

"What do you think?" I replied rudely.

"Maddy! Are you on your period?" He mocked at me. Is he in his right mind?

I slapped his arm. "Are you out of your mind?"

"Nope."

One of his friend cleared his throat to interrupt us.

"We're going to start in 5 minutes bruh."

"Okay. So what now?" He raised his brow.

"What?"

"Any good luck or something?"
What? Good luck kiss? Hug?
God what's happening on my cheeks?

"U-uh-uhm good luck?" I stuttered.
"Good luck! I know you can do it!" I speak again. That formed smile on his lips.

"Thank you my lucky charm!" He said while some of his friends are whistling at the back. But Sam and Lance was nowhere. Maybe they didn't join. Then they left and I decided to spend my time waiting at the cafe. It's so boring maybe the girls aren't done yet. Uh I can't live like this. I ended up surfing online and I saw Wil's Post.

William Brids: First love never dies(laugh emoji)

Is he joking or what? Cause if not I would suspect that him and Natasha having some contact again.

I just continue to scroll and I decided to post some update.

Aubrey Brids: Good luck!

I didn't mention anyone's name. Just not to be obvious.

Then my notifications started to buzz again and again. Comments and Likes.

"Oh God who's that?" Wil commented. Playing innocent huh?

"Going to support also here!" Kira commented.

She's free? So I sent her a private message.

Aubrey: You're free?
 
Then she replied fast.

Kira: Yas.  Where are you. I just finished the practice.

Aubrey: At the cafe. You?

Kira: Wait coming.

So I waited. Then I saw her walking toward our V.I.P. bench.
We talked lots of things until some people are getting noisy.

"They win!"

"He deserves it!"

The words I heard but who??

Kira grabbed my risk and we walked towards the hall.

"Wait. Where are your man?" Kira asked me.

"I don't know." I replied.

We continued to walk until I saw Casper waving at me.

I saw his smile ear to ear and I already knew it.

"You're really my lucky charm."
Then he wraps his hands to me.
Am I dreaming? This is Heaven.
