Introduction

Enchanted Forest

Soft cries suddenly filled the room that once held the breathless pants of Regina Mills. She let herself fall onto the bed that was underneath her with a sound of relief, from all of the agony and pain that had overcome her.

After a few seconds of her getting her breath back she called out to her maid "Let me see her...please" her voice cracking halfway through due to the thought that her baby would soon be ripped away from her. The maid slowly walked over to Regina, carrying a tiny bundle of blankets that her child laid in.

As she got close enough Regina's eyes began to water and a small smile arose on her face as she saw her and Daniels perfect little baby girl. She carefully took the child into her arms, scared that she would break such a fragile being. Her tears began to fall down her face as she rocked the baby back and fourth to try and comfort her and gasped when she opened her eyes, which held Daniels hazel colour.

She whispered to her daughter as she stroked her soft small face, "Hi Little one, I'm your mommy" she stared in admiration and love at the little bundle of happiness she had been so lucky to have received.

"I'm so sorry" she broke down in tears

"I don't know what is going to happen now" she sniffled as she found it hard to stay strong. Her thoughts were cut short as the door slammed open to reveal a furious looking Cora who looked back at Regina with hatred and disgust.

She had knew that this day would come and had said that she would cover Regina's baby bump with her magic so that the king she was set to marry would never find out. However when Cora has found out about Regina's pregnancy she immediately knew that it was the stable boys child and she got rid of him permanently. By crushing the poor boys heart and therefore breaking her daughters in the process.

"Mother-." Regina started, only to get rudely interrupted by her mother.

"Don't get too attached darling, we both know that you can't possibly keep it" she said with an evil smile.

"No mother. She's mine and I want her. I don't care if Leopold knows! I don't care if the whole kingdom knows! She's the only thing I have got left to remember Daniel!" The queen screamed as she protested as her daughter stirred due to the sudden noise.

"The stupid stable boy deserved what he got! Now give me the child Regina!" Cora spat.

"No!" She shouted out, taking Cora aback slightly. But with a quick click of her fingers Cora used her magic to take the little girl out of Regina's arms and into her own.

Regina leapt up despite the constant pain that she felt, and seethed "please don't" she begged.

In return Cora replied "enough of this nonsense! You will marry King Leopold and none of this will ever be spoken of again, otherwise I will be sure to see that this child never sees the light of day again"

She swiftly turned towards the door and began walking towards it as Regina pleaded her mother with tears streaming down her pale face. "No!! No please!" She shouted.
At the last minute she screamed to her mother "please! Just let me give her a name! Please mother!"

This made Cora stop in her tracks as she would probably regret her next steps later on. "Fine Regina but that is final" she said strictly.

"Avery" Regina replied more softly

Cora took one look at her daughter and nodded her head as she disappeared in a puff of purple smoke along with Avery.

Regina broke down into a rack of sobs as she rocked her body back and fourth. "I will find you Avery" she cried. "Avery Mills, I promise when I find you nothing will ever hurt you ever again"

(A/N: Hey all! Guess you probably thought I died or something because I have been absent for about a decade! (Meh, only been about 6 months) anyway I am so sorry that I haven't updated 'Sour Love' yet but I will get onto it I promise. I've been having a lot of trouble lately as I've had to revise for my mock exams and I've also been struggling with some anxiety but I'm happy to say that I am back :) I just decided out of the blue that I wanted to start something new and so I decided to go with 'Once Upon A Time'! So I hope you enjoyed my introduction and I will be posting my cast list shortly. Thank you!)
