Chapter 1
I was just playing outside with the other kids of the neighbourhood when a strange man came to us. He said he had some candy for us if we would come with him. At first we wanted to come, but the man had something creepy and my aunt always told me not to go with strangers no matter what. So we all decided to just walk away from him. As we walked away the man got angry and grabbed me by my arm. I screamed it out, but while I screamed I felt a shiver going through my body. When I opened my eyes I could see I was exactly as tall as the man and I could see the shocked face of the man who had just almost attacked me. He was stunned but still had his hold on my arm. I looked down my arm and as I was looking, shock took over my body. It was no longer the arm of a 10 year old nor the one of a girl. I looked to my other arm and the rest of my body and I could see I no longer was a 10 year old at all. The man finally let go of me and stepped back startled by what happened. He tried to say something but couldn’t get to his words. As I watched his shocked face, he ran away. I turned around and I could see the horrified faces of the kids I played with seconds ago. Suddenly one of them started to scream and the others quickly followed. As I realised I was the one who scared them, I started to run.
