Steve and Bucky finally got together. They couldn't be happier. Sure Bucky was still a little cray-cray and paranoid but that didn't stop his love for Steve. One day the two went for a walk down to the park. Steve was skipping like a schoolgirl and Bucky's shoes were untied so he was flopping everywhere. When they arrived to the park, Steve went to go to the bathroom. Again he started skipping to the loo. Bucky sat on the bench nearest to him and looked around at the scenery. He saw lilacs and oak trees. He saw a kid climbing a tree to get an orange tabby cat. He kept glancing around until his eyes landed on a gigantic mud puddle. His eyes widened at the sight. He swiftly got up to go towards the puddle. It was bigger than he imagined. Sticks and twigs floated in the glorious poo brown mud. He then heard the spirit of the mud telling him to throw his shoe in him. Bucky then took of his shoe in one quick motion and quietly whispered...yeet. He saw his shoe starting to float down into the puddle. He stared until he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Why are you staring at a puddle?" Steve questioned.
"Because it's glorious."
Bucky replied simply.
"And where is your shoe?"
Steve asked.
" This giant puddle demanded a sacrifice."
Bucky answered.
Steve looked Bucky up and down and thought, What did I do to deserve you my love. And also...What the fuck. Steve detached Bucky's eyes from the puddle and pushed him down the slide. They then went home and slept.
