"It's only...Three days and a minute until the D day."
They are whispering, though they are alone in the building that has become a house, a haven. They are hugging in the dark, as if it was the most natural thing in the world, although have never done it before. Mark decides to blame it on the nerves.
"I know. But I don't fear it anymore now." Mark confesses in a breath. Jackson lifts up his head from Mark's chest and stares at him.
"Then what do you fear now?" Jackson was able to catch the unspoken feelings behind Mark's words, a sign of the strengthening connection between their souls.
Both know the answer. Just like before finding each other, their fear is the same, although a different one from then. Not from their parents, not from the stares, not from failure.
They're afraid they'll lose each other.
