now, namjoon may have said a teensy, tiny white lie.. but it was for the greater good! because when he went home, he did not, in fact, work on the essay,
he decided to stress eat
when his mom got home that evening, she found her son taking a nap on the kitchen table surrounded by food. she knew he probably didn't do the essay so she would just have to settle for an oral answer. shaking him slightly, she woke him up. namjoon eyes were bleary so he looked like a lost(boy) lamb. while he went to the bathroom to freshen up, she cleaned the kitchen table and waited for him and the explanation he owed her. during the explanation he kept on thinking of those 6 boys and stumbled over his words. his mom gave up long ago on trying to translate what he said so she let him off with a warning and a goodnight. she thought he probably wasn't hungry after all that eating.
namjoon's mind kept on wandering to those boys, how could they be so hot and well- dressed and yet, they were interested in me?? he couldn't understand. figuring the probability of them being at the same park two nights in a row was extremely low, he decided to head out for a walk. since his mom was already sleeping, he didn't feel the need to tell her because he would definitely be back by 11:00pm. thinking of how last night was cold, he wisely brought two jackets that made him look like the fluffiest being in the world(he doesn't need jackets for that, he does it all by himself) and quietly closed the front door while leaving.
