Summary: Where Peter Parker accidentally breaks your glasses one stormy afternoon.

Shivering a bit, you reach up and pull your hoodie tighter around your head. You could feel the pitter patter of rain on your head, the droplets running down your face and covering your glasses in streams of water, puddles splashing up to touch the bottoms of your legs. You loved storms, but walking in the rain can get a little cold. Of course, you were wearing a t-shirt and shorts; thank god you'd packed that hoodie in your bag that morning. It was the last day of school, and you were headed to the opticians office to pick up your brand new glasses.
As you were walking, you had to constantly remove your glasses to wipe off the water so you could see. Seeing that your vision obstructed by water yet again, you took the glasses from your face, holding them delicately in one hand while the other reached for a cloth to wipe them off. Just as you turned to fish through your pocket, a figure came running into your side, effectively knocking your glasses out of your hand and onto the wet pavement.
Quickly bending to pick them up, you stifled a gasp. They were completely shattered. You glanced up angrily to see a blurry figure standing in front of you, profusely apologizing.
"Oh my god, oh my god, I am SO so so sorry!" he said, audibly gulping, "Uh, I'll- I'll pay for them to be, uh, fixed!"
Instead of answering, you slowly neared the boy. Since you didn't have your glasses, you had no way of seeing who it was clearly unless they were about half a foot away from you. You stopped in front of him, squinting to try to recognize him. Still unable to see who it was, you continued to lean in until his face was right in front of yours. At this distance, you could finally clearly see his deep brown eyes, droplets of water running down his features.
"Umm..." he swallowed yet again, "What- what're you doing?"
"It's Peter, right?" you ignored his question, asking one of your own in order to put a name to the face in front of you.
"Y-yeah, that's..." he continued to scan your face, drinking in every small detail, "that's me..."
Clearing your throat, you took a step backwards, "Sorry, couldn't see you without my glasses. My name's Y/N. I think we had chem together?"
"Uhhhh..." he was frozen until you gently grabbed his shoulder, "Yeah! Yeah, we were. Um, I'm really really sorry about those. What can I do to help?"
"Well," you sighed, looking around, "I was actually headed to the eye doctor right before you ran into me, but I can't really get there now that I can't see anything."
You saw the outline of his face change, and assumed that his face brightened due to a new idea popping into his brain, "Ooh! I can walk you there. Here, take my arm?"
"Peter. I can see well enough to not trip, I just need help navigating since it's busy on the roads and I can't read things."
"Oh, ahem, yeah. Sorry." he looked away, leading you to conclude he had an embarrassed look on his face.
After a moment's hesitation, you walked up and grabbed onto his arm, "Better safe than sorry, right?" you smiled up at him.
He shook his head and began to walk forward, steering you around the sidewalks and towards your destination. After a few minutes, you broke the silence, "So, where were you going that's so important, anyways?"
He froze in place, causing you to jerk backwards and fall onto the wet pavement below. "Oh god, I am so sorry, Y/N!" he pleaded as he grabbed your hands and pulled you off the ground.
