Secret of the Empire [ORIGINAL]

CHAPTER 2 - A New Beginning

I strolled down the large hallway as I pass by the butlers' and maids'. [They're so tall...] I thought to myself as I continued down the hallway to the dining hall. Every time when I go past someone, they always move aside and bow to me saying good morning. I did the same thing back to them and gave them an 'angelic' smile that apparently melts peoples heart.

Today is my birthday, but I don't really see the point in it. It's just a day where you get closer to death. I slowly walked down the hallway, until I end up in front of a large door with delicate details of intricate patterns on both doors. The two guards standing outside the door looked down at me and opened the door. They stepped aside, and I walked in without wasting anymore time to get to the dining table. As I walked towards the table, I saw mother and father talking with each other about whatever they're talking about. But I could care less. I sat on my chair and said my good mornings to them and sat there waiting for the food.

As I sat there humming a tune while waiting, then the butler came in with our breakfast. He placed a plate in front of my parents and then me. He opened the lid and what I saw, is something that I always wanted to try. Spaghetti! My face lit up as I stared at the dish. I looked up to my parents to get the signal to eat. When they saw my happy face, they chuckled a bit and gave me a nod. I smiled and grabbed my fork and started gobbling it down but still delicately, cause I am a princess after all, not a rogue. Although in my mind, I was eating it just as bad as now. But who cares, it's not like someone can see what's in my mind.... [Can they?]. Oh well.

After breakfast, I walked back to my room. As I approached my room, I saw some maids in the corner peaking at me while gossiping about god knows what. I shrugged it off and continued with my journey towards my room. I opened my door and closed it just as fast as I opened it. I gave a loud sigh and crashed face first onto my king-sized bed. I lazily laid onto my back and blankly stared out my window, which lead outside to my balcony. I looked to my other side and stared at the clock. [Hmmm... 10:30am. It's still quite early]. I sat up from my bed and walked over to my study table and grabbed my tablet. I searched up things about the outside world. To be exact, the castle. I've never been out of the castle before, and I've explored every nook and cranny of this place. I was getting bored from doing my research, so I just played with some mechanical parts that I have laying around my desk.

I was still messing with the parts, there was a knock on the door. [I wonder who it is...].

"Princess Aria, the king and queen wants to see you in the throne room," a female voice, which I assume is a maid, said through the door.

"Okay, coming," I said enthusiastically.

I dropped what I was doing on my desk and walked over to the door and opened it. I was greeted by a maid, which I assume was the one that was told to get me. I walked out, wearing a blank face, and started heading down the long hallway. The maid followed suite.

Hope you will still stay with me until this story ends. But if you don't then it's okay. I'll just cry y sorrows away... No, no, you don't have to read it if yo don't want to. I'll be fine. I' not like I'll be sad or anything...

Well, anyways. Hope you enjoyed. I publish another chapter next week and hope you will still read it. Although it's quite boring right now. But I promise it will get better! (I hope)
