The Shining of Stars

I got in the shower and washed up. Then I got out dried off and yanked Colby with me to Devyn and Corey's room. I knocked and Devyn came up to the door ready as ever. She looked at Colby confused. "Hes coming with us". I told Devyn then she looked at him like he was retarded. We walked to Devyns car and drove to the mall. Devyn had our arms locked and Colby had his arm around my shoulders. We were walking like that and we decided to split up and go to our stores. We would meet back up at the food court to eat at 3:00. Colby went with me and Devyn just disappeared. We first went to hot topic because I love their clothes. He dragged me into a store I've never been in. Game stop. It was fun we bought new games and i bought a Fortnite hoodie. I'm gonna wear this tonight when I play with Aaron. We eventually went into Victoria Secret. Colby looked a little nervous. "Hey dont be nervous I see couples walk in here together all the time they are gonna think we are a couple too so dont worry". He eased up more "thanks I just didnt think I would actually be walking in this store". "You'll be ok". We walked around and I found me some things checked out and ran to the food court. I texted Devyn and about a minute after she was walking up to our table. We ordered food and ate. We all walked together after that. We walked to Van's store and I got a new pair.

I found something that I wanted to get for Colby and I thought it was really cute.

When I turned to face him he was holding a stuffed animal for me too.

We bought eachother the gift and hugged. We walked out of the store holding the animal to our face. We looked like little kids. We finished up at the mall and headed home. When we go there Colby helped me put my things away and I put my Fortnite hoodie on and grabbed something for Aaron. I bought him the same hoodie. We could match while trying to beat eachother. I walked in a showed him he said "No way you didnt". "Yes way I did". He ran up and hugged me I gave him the jacket and he quickly put it on. He pulled out his bean bag chair and handed me the controller. We played for hours. Eventually it was 9:36 and I was ready for sleep. I finished the game and left Aaron's room and flopped down on my bed. I was just laying there thinking about who Colby could like. This coming up birthday was close and it was my eighteenth birthday. I'd be an adult. Hes 20 years old so right now it's illegal to date. I bet hes gonna ask me out on my birthday. I like him too but I'm scared. What happened with Cameron I will never be the same around guys. I'm still suspicious around Elton and Aaron. I haven't met Jake or Brennen yet but I've heard Colby talk about them alot. I still dont feel comfortable. I'll grow into it though. After all that thinking I was worn out. I finally fell asleep.

/next day/

I woke up and took a shower. I had the day unplanned but decided to just walk around and have fun. Just a me day. I did my makeup and hair and put on my outfit.

After I told everyone I was going out I got my phone and purse and walked out of the house. I was just walking around and enjoying the veiw. The day was so peaceful and calming. I loved it. I stayed out all day and had so much fun by myself. I got a call from Aaron on my way home. He was asking to play Fortnite with me. I told him as soon as I got back I would run to his room and yank a controller.
(At the house)
"Aaron you ready to play?".
"Yeah you got your jacket?".
"Yeah".
"Ok".
I ran into his room and practically jumped into his bean bag chair and sat down. He turned on his TV and we played for hours. It was really fun. I want to do this again tomorrow. I like it alot he's my best friend. I can talk to him about anything and play games with him at anytime. Plus buddy loves me. I finished playing and got tired. I headed to bed and before I got to my room Devyn talked to me about Colby. She said she knows he likes me. I didnt believe her until she showed me photos she took of me and him cuddling and him kissing my forehead. It was cute and I liked it so I got her to send it to me so I could set my lock screen.
After me and Devyn talked I went to my room. I couldn't fall asleep. I was tired just a minute ago. Ughhhh.....
I'm gonna text Colby.

Abs😍💘:  can't sleep

Colbs😘💖: you want me to come to you or do you want to come to you

"Thanks Colby".
"Your welcome".
"I was tired and now I'm not and maybe staying with someone will help me fall asleep".
"Ok that's fine".
"Thanks again".
"Its not a problem".

I climbed into bed with Colby and layed my head on his chest. Listening to his heartbeat put me to sleep. I loved him so much and I wish I could tell him but the times not right. I'll give him until my birthday which is in 1 and half weeks.
