The Tear In Our Hearts

Today I'm going to meet Colbys friend Brennen. I am really nervous. I've heard about him and he seems nice but I have a bad feeling. Colby has taught me a little bit about fighting. If Brennen comes to close it's not gonna be good. I got out of bed and looked at my calendar. Just 1 more week till my birthday. I walked into my bathroom and took a shower. After I got out I got ready and wore this.

I got downstairs and Colby was already at the door. We walked to the car and talked about meeting Brennen. Colby told me hes a little bit of a bad person to be around if your a girl. He also told me hes talked to Brennen about me telling Brennen not to try anything. When we got there I held onto Colbys arm with one arm. He knocked on the door and I'm guessing Brennen came out a kinda hugged Colby. He held his hand out for me to shake but I was hesitant and it took me a minute. I shook his hand and we walked in. His house wasn't that big and he had a dog. It was adorable. The dog came up to me and was wagging its tail. It was jumping up and down. I let go of Colby and pet the soft dog. Colby started walking into the kitchen I quickly got up and walked with him leaving Brennen. He grabbed some drinks for me him and Brennen. He told me without hesitation "we can leave if you dont want to be here". I told him "it's only a thought if he gets to close and doesnt move when I tell him to I'm walking out the door and waiting for you at the car". "That's sounds fine to me" he said smiling a little. I smiled back and he hugged me. Being the person I am hugged him back and we stood there for a minute. He let go and kissed my forehead and I blushed and hid my face in his chest. He held onto me so tight but so gently.
"Hey Abs".
"Yeah Colbs".
"Promise me something".
"Anything".
"Never leave me".
"That's something I can promise".
"That's good because I would miss you too much if you ever left me".
"I wont leave you I promise".
"Thanks".
"Its all good".
"Let's go back in there so he doesnt get ideas".
"Yeah".

He pulls out of the hug and I hold onto his arm again. We walk in there. "What were yall doing?". We held up our drinks. "Oh". We sat down and talked. Colby was sitting in between us so I dont have to be so close to. Brennen he gives me looks and it makes me uncomfortable. I nudged Colby. I walked into the kitchen.
"Abs what's wrong".
"I dont want to here he keeps giving me looks and theres something about him that just seems off".
"Ok we can leave".
"Thanks Colbs".
"Its no problem".
"Dont be mad at me because I want to leave early".
"I'm not its normal for you to feel this way because of what happened I respect your choices".
"Thanks again".
"Anything for you".
"Do you want to go tell him bye".
"Yeah do you want to come or do you want to go to the car".
"I'll come with you".
"K".

We walked back to Brennen. Colby told him we were leaving. He asked why. Colby simply told him that we had other things to do. He just looked at Colby and held his hand out for me to shake. I shook it less hesitantly. We walked out and got in the car. Before we got back to the house we stopped by Taco Bell. We sat in the car and ate. We were on our way back and o was bored so I turned on the radio. It was playing "Theres nothing holding me back" by Shawn Mendes. I started singing and Colby was smiling. He took a video of me because I knew he wouldnt post it. He knows I'm scared of people's judgement. He showed the house though. I was fine with it because they weren't gonna post it or say anything. We got there and walked upstairs I went to Aaron's room to play Fortnite. We had our jackets and had fun. It was late so I walked back to my room. I went to sleep almost immediately.

~Abbys dream~
Me and Colby were at Brennens house. We were talking and Colby went to get us food. I had gotten used to being around brennen so I didnt think anything would happen. I guessed wrong.
"Brennen what are you doing get off of me now".
"Oh but that's no fun".
"Dont do this please Brennen if you  dont stop your gonna hurt me".

It was too late in was already shaking and panting. Panic attack. I was alone no one to help me maybe Colby can get back in time. I can think but not talk why does this happen to me. Brennen didnt stop. Soon I was weak and had bruises all over my legs and waist. He had hit me so I would stay still. I was so hurt I eventually passed out. Before I did though I heard colbys scream and a weight was lifted. *crash* then my eyes shut.
