A/N: Just a quick PSA that there are some mentions of abuse in this chapter and harm! Also foul language for anyone who doesn't like reading that. In addition, please do not hate me for this chapter and how I characterized some of the people in the chapter! I am fully aware that Cole is a great and loving boyfriend to Lili! But this chapter just goes down a different path. Happy reading!

3rd Person POV

It was a Friday afternoon. The cast of Riverdale was beginning to wrap up the last episode of season three.

"Alright just one more scene left! KJ! Lili! We need you on set stat!" Roberto said calling for them.

Lili was quite nervous to say the least... A few episodes ago the "perfect" couplings, being Veronica and Archie and Jughead and Betty, had split, leaving some fans happy, others devastated, and an enraged Cole Sprouse.

Over the course of him and Lili's relationship, she found him to become more possessive of her. Always wondering where she was, what she was doing, who she was with. And she was finally reaching her breaking point with him. What right did he have telling her what she can and can't do? But as you become more possessive, you become more irrational, sometimes violent. At first it would just be little things like a simple rise of pitch in his voice, but soon lead to countless nights of Lili lying awake, unable to sleep for the tears in her eyes did not cease from falling down her cheeks. Her life was now in a confined bubble. Only going out to do things with people when he told her it was okay to do so. And that left many concerned about the blonde and her mental state, especially the New Zealander.

But why was she so afraid you may ask? Well, because this was the scene where Archie and Betty finally admit their feelings for one another whilst sharing a kiss. And you could see the smoke coming out from Cole's ears.

"Alright everyone! This is officially a wrap for Season 3!" Roberto exclaimed.

The feeling of finishing the season was bittersweet for everyone.

"Hey! Great job today Lili!" KJ said to Lili.

"Thanks Kage! You too! I really can't believe the season is over..."

"Yeah it's a shame really, I won't be seeing that much of you... but at least I don't have to have this red hair anymore... I swear that all my hair is about to fall off from all of the dyeing..."

Lili chuckled at his remark. No matter what, KJ was still as charming as ever and unknown to her he loved making her laugh. When they had first encountered one another, Keneti had an immediately rush of attraction towards Lili. He never could tell her how he felt about her though, because his "best friend" had snatched her up before he even had the chance to talk to her. He always wondered if she had felt the same about him, but brushed off the thought quickly for she was already taken and didn't want to meddle in her relationship. For he only wanted to see her emote happiness.

"Hey... sorry to interrupt KJ, but it's time to take my girl home." Cole had said with a twinge of anger.

What had she done wrong this time to now
make him mad at her.

"Bye Lili... and Cole... Hopefully I'll see you out of work, yeah?"

"Of course KJ... Talk to you soon." Lili said solemnly. Her connection with her now love interest on the show was indescribable. Although there was never a romantic relationship between them, she had felt some sort of peace whenever she was with him. The sort of peace that had now withered away from her relationship with Cole.

Lili and Cole were now back at their apartment. Lili was scared. No words were spoken between them on the car ride home and Cole's knuckles were white against the steering wheel.

Silence was finally broken once the couple entered the apartment when he forcefully pushed her against the wall.

"What the hell did you were doing today?!" Cole said. His voice was loud and high. His veins looked as if they were to pop out from his neck.

"I..I don't know what you mean." Lili stuttered. She knew what was to come next, it recently started happening, but this time she wouldn't know how dealing with the situation.

"You know exactly what I mean bitch! Do you think I'm stupid? That this is some game?" His handed now rested on her neck, leaving her gasping for air.

"S-stop! Y-you—you're hurting me Cole!"

"Do you think I give a damn? You knew exactly what you were doing... Kissing KJ like that... being the absolute whore that you are." He lessened his grip on her neck allowing the cool air to find its way to her lungs. She didn't know what he was talking about. She had kissed him just like the directors told her to... there should have been no reason for him to be upset with her.

No words could escape from her lips angering the raven haired boy even more. Slamming her against the wall one more time. The prints from his hands were starting to visibly appear on her neck.

"You're such a slut! You can't stay the night here..." Cole said as he pushed her out of the door. To make matters worse it had just begun to rain leaving the blonde soaking.

She didn't know what to do... where to go. But she hopped into her car, thankfully he hadn't taken her keys and drove and drove until she stumbled upon a place that had made her feeling safe.

She slowly emerged from her car... shivering. It was pouring even harder than before. She finally reached the front door and rang the doorbell. Anxious for someone to open it and welcome her with loving arms.

The door slowly creaked open to reveal a shirtless KJ Apa on the other side.

"Lili? What are you doing here? It's pouring rain out! Here. Come inside."

She had walked into his home. It was very lovely. It wasn't extravagantly big or small, but the most cozy home Lili's eyes had ever seen.

"You're shivering... Stay here. I'll get you some clothes okay?" KJ said with a heartwarming smile. He was confused. His brain scattered everywhere.

A few moments later he came down with some warm clothes for her. His generosity truly emerging from his big heart. Lili had gone upstairs to his room to change into the clothes. She liked how they looked on her. The height difference between them was impeccable and his scented sweatshirt, that she loved, hung perfectly over her petite body.

"Lili? Can I come in?" KJ had said while knocking the door.

Lili walked over and opening it, facing him, looking into his chocolate-brown orbs full of worry. She couldn't help it... Tears rapidly began falling down her face as she began to sob. She then was wrapped into a tight embrace. She felt safe...secure.

"Lili? Speak to me... What happened. Who hurt you?" He said as he slowly pulled away observing the bruising on her neck. Tears began to form in his eyes as well. Wondering who could ever do something so cruel to an angel like her.

"I—I want to tell you... and I will, but can you just stay here with me? For the night? I don't want to be alone right now." She sniffled.

"Of course. I'll always be here for you Lili... Always..."

Together the both made their way to his bed. It was killing him how close their bodies were, but he knew he couldn't touch her, he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable. But the space between them closed as she took his arm and draped it around her body, making sure to not let go of his hand as her head rested upon his bare chest. He planted a soft kiss on the top of her forehead.

"Goodnight Lili. Sleep well." He said with a smile as the pair slowly, in their embrace, drifted off to sleep...
