"Come on Sara!" My friend Jane called after me.

I grabbed the nearest pair of boots and went off with her. We were going hiking with the others today. We've been planning it for weeks and decided today was a nice day to hike.

It was a bit cloudy though but the weather person guaranteed that it wouldn't rain or even drizzle.

"Hurry up Sara or they're going to leave without us!" Jane grabbed my arm and pulled me outside the house before I could complain.

We got outside and there were the others, chatting beside a dark gray Toyota van.

Dave was the first to notice us.

"Finally!" he said in relief.

"What took you so long Sara?" Hazel asked rising from her seat to hug me.

"I couldn't find my boots, sorry," I said in front of the others blushing and realizing that I did take long.

"Then what is that?" Dave asked pointing at the boot that I had in one hand.

"It's a boot, idiot." Jane said and led me into the van. "Now can we just get going?"

"Okay, Come on everybody get in!" Jon said frowning.

"I'm driving," Jon grabbed the keys from the Dave and got in.

There were at least six of us, including me. But originally there should've been ten of us. The others were busy while the others said they had dates.

We arrived there in less than five minutes thanks to Jon's driving.

Everybody got off the van as soon as car halts to a stop.

We started the hike and everyone split into pairs: Jane was talking to some guy I have never met (or at least some guy whose name I may have forgotten)about music and Hazel was flirting with Dave. So that left me with Jon.

"Hey," Jon said walking by my side.

"Hey," I repeated looking at the ground. I knew Jon but we didn't talk to each other very much so it was going to be a very uncomfortable walk.

"So why did you come?" he asked me after a moment of silence.

How sudden, this guy isn't shy. I smiled grimly. "Jane asked me. You?"

Jon chuckled. "Same here,"

"Really?" I said looking at him for the first time.

"Yep," he said looking at me as well.

Cool I have a companion."Well I wonder why they brought us..."

"I can guess," he said pointing ahead at Jane and some guy who were holding hands and laughing.

Then it hit me why Jane had brought me here. Oh my God, Jane set me up on a date!

"I'm gonna kill Jane later," I hissed under my breath.

Unfortunately Jon had heard me and he started laughing.

"Why are you laughing?" I asked him, blushing.

"You sound so serious that it's funny," he said, still laughing.

"And why is that so funny?" I said, blushing deeper. Had I really looked so serious or was he just kidding?

"Nothing, don't mind me." he muttered chuckling a bit.

I narrowed my eyes and gave him the silent treatment the whole walk.

We arrived at the spot beside the lake. It looked so peaceful and nice.

"Wow, it's really cool here." I said smiling widely and stretching my arms.

Everyone talked and some even went for a swim in the river. I stayed by the side of the river and brought out my camera.

I love photography. And this camera was bought for me from an aunt who I have yet to meet. But I still loved it. It was just perfect for photography.

I took a few pictures of the lake and my friends. I looked at my pictures looking for picturesque and nice.

None of them seemed to stand out.

I stand up. "Hey you guys!" I called out to them "I'm going into the woods okay?"

"Don't you want someone to come with you?" Dave asked looking at Jon who was sitting by the side talking to the guy Jane was with earlier.

I shook my head. "Nah, I prefer being alone when taking pictures." I told him, which wasn't exactly a lie.

"Don't go off to far, you'll get lost!" Jane said grabbing a towel from a nearby tree branch.

"Yeah, Bye." I said and went to the forest.

"Bye Saralisiah!" Jane, Hazel and Dave said together before I went.

I cringed. I hated the name and they knew it. It was too... much for me I guess. And I have never heard anything like it, ever.

I took my time exploring the woods. I took a few pictures of huge oaks and pines and some flowers but I got bored quickly. I decided to go farther off.

I looked at my watch and blinked when I saw how late it already was.

I opened my bag and looked for my cell phone. I'll just call the others.

"Damn," I said, realizing that I had left my cell phone, charging in my room.

I tried to go back to the way I came but all the trees looked the same and I just ended up getting deeper into the woods.

I tried not to panic but it was so damn hard not to. What if I didn't find my home or ended up dead or attacked by an animal?

Man that would suck and not to mention painful.

Suddenly a low growl echoed and I froze.

Oh no, please don't let be an animal that'll eat me, please don't let it be an animal who'll eat me, please...

A huge wolf appeared from the trees. I would've screamed but I couldn't even blink. I just stood there, paralyzed and prayed that the wolf wouldn't kill me.

The wolf did no such thing though. It fell on the ground. It was covered in blood and wounds. It's white fur was drenched in dirt and blood.

I could feel my body starting to return to normal. I could've run but I didn't. Instead I grabbed a towel from my bag and soaked it with water from a small bottle I had.

I ran to the wolf and gently pressed the damp towel to the wounds. I didn't know why but I wasn't scared to do it.

Okay I was scared but I couldn't leave the wolf in that kind of condition.

I stood up to get my bag from where I left it. And I did the same thing only when I turned around the wolf was gone!

Instead a boy with pale gold hair, almost white, and the same wounds as the wolf lay. And he was freaking naked!

My cheeks burned brightly. But I still walked over there to tend to its... his wounds.

I pressed the towel against a gaping wound but the boy suddenly grabbed my hand.

I tried to scream but one of his hands covered my mouth.

"Fuck," he cursed.

He looked at me and I saw that his eyes were red!

What the heck is happening?

The boy looks me in the eye and asked me: "Did you see me change?"

I tried to speak but his hand was still on my mouth. I nodded my head and felt tears fall down my face.

Pathetic. But I was so scared that I didn't even care.

"Fuck," he curses again.

I looked at him with huge scared eyes, trying to look for an answer.

He sighed.

"I'm sorry," he said and hits me hard enough for me to black out.

It happened too quick and too fast.

But my last thought was: "What the hell just happened?" before I let myself fade into the darkness swallowing me.
