Years have already pass by. I have forgotten my dream of becoming a writer. Instead I stayed with my family, working as a Vice President in our own company has never been my dream but I am here now. Earlier today my friend Tracy called me to meet someone. I bet it's just another blind dates. I don't know about them, I'm twenty-seven-- yes I become older but I'm just not yet ready to find someone whom I'll be with.

Honestly, after all the dates I've had before. I have met a lot of person, but I was just never interested in them. But tonight might be different, maybe it'll work out, we don't know about it. we don't know about any of it. You can't predict everything because this is real. I am real and I am not in a book where there is someone right for me.

That there is someone destined, we just have to wait and see.

I am now wearing a simple, white dress that has a lacy sleeves and I just paired it with a plain white stilettos to look a little professional. Tracy said that my date is sitting right in the corner-- the corner of the corner of this place. Which just made me more curious on what does he really do for a living.

I stopped at the corner table and smiled at the guy that was sitting across it. "Are you my date?" He said while looking at me. "I'm Jamie Marie Taylor, I hope that answered your question." I said while handing him my hand. He just took my hand and smiled.

He told me to sit across him, which I did. "You already do know now my name, is it okay for me to know what's yours?" He giggled a little and called the waiter to ask for the menu. "My name is Zach, Zach Emmanuel Steele, nice to meet you."

The time seemed to have slowed down when he said that his name was Zach. I haven't heard that name in such a long time. "Nice meeting you, can I call you Emmanuel instead?"

"Yes you can. Tracy was a little-- you know."

"I guess she had already told you everything."

"I'm sorry." He said while holding the menu that the waiter handed earlier.

"You don't have to, none of it was your fault." I said softly

After a while we both decided to leave the restaurant to buy some ice cream. This was so far the longest date I had ever. "Why did you pick that table? Like what do you do?" I asked. "I own a publishing company. I don't like to read books; sorry to disappoint you but the publishing company is just something that I inherited."

How amazing, he owns a publishing company yet he hates reading, perfect.

"You should try reading. It's pretty fun."

"Wait, you read books?"

"Yes, yes I do. I'm practically a hoarder when it comes to it."

We were just walking and talking at the same time until an awkward silence happened between us, well not until when he started opening up a topic once again.

"You said you love reading books."

"Yes I did."

"Would you want to try writing one?" He asked and we both stopped walking, that is just when I realized that we already arrived home. I admit that my feet hurts a little from walking a distance, but I also admit that I had fun.

"Should I? Like write a book or something?"

"I think you should, you should try to write one. You should try to write again, write again Juliet Grace."
