"um, i reserved one deluxe suite yesterday evening." seungkwan swallowed as he stuttered at the intimidating receptionist. the middle-aged man frowned. "sorry, but we do not reserve suites for minors, so your reservation yesterday was impossible." he grumbled, glaring at the thirteen boys. the boys were changed out of their matching uniforms and into casual clothing earlier, which helped to simmer down suspicion of other hotel guests and staff.
seungkwan sighed. "but sir, i really reserved a deluxe suite yesterday under my uncle's name." he frowns and folds his arms, soon getting fed up with the rude receptionist. why did his stupid uncle even hire such a rude dude? how did this douche even pass his interview? "kind sir, i really don't wish to be rude, but it would be best if you give us the key before our friend's uncle comes and sack you." seungcheol steps out and retorts, clearly annoyed.
the receptionist burst out into laughter and hit his palm onto the marble desk, in a fit of humour. he wipes off a few tears of laughter from his face and attempts to compose himself but fails again. the boys were starting to get pissed off, and jihoon even lifted up his knuckles and cracked them menacingly. "why, you're claiming that your uncle can sack me? who can your uncle be? my boss?" the receptionist continues laughing again.
seungkwan rolls his eyes. "my suite was booked under lee han s-"
"hyuk min joon. aren't you supposed to be working? why are you laughing like that?" a deep voice interrupted the boys' trains of upset thoughts and the laughter of the receptionist. the receptionist finally composes himself and stands up to greet his boss. little did he know that his boss was seungkwan's uncle. seungkwan's eyes widened and he started to pout. "uncle... this guy is being mean! he won't give us our key!" mingyu snorts a little from his friend's funny acting and jeonghan choked on some of the iced coffee that he was drinking.
what made seungkwan smirk was the horrified expression pasted on the receptionist's face. "s-sir! i-i am sorry! t-this won't happen again!" the receptionist switched his attention to the boys and to his boss. seungkwan's uncle smiled. "oh, of course this won't happen again. in fact, i think it'll never happen again. you're fired, mr hyuk. pack your things and leave," he smiles and waves his fingers at the horrified receptionist. "bye~"
the thirteen boys burst out into laughter as they watched the receptionist run into the staff room in utter terror and seungkwan's uncle chuckles in amusement. "glad to see you, kwan. i'm guessing these are your friends?" he nods at the rest of the boys behind his blonde nephew. the boys nod their head in thanks and seungkwan pauses and he found it amusing that he met majority of his 'friends' in less than twenty hours ago, but still he nods, and smiles.
"well i better pass you guys the key, you all look really tired, and i'll tell your mom that you're living at my place for the time being. run along now." seungkwan's uncle drops the slick card into seungkwan's open palm, and joshua smiles. "thank you, sir!" all the other boys said the same and left. "well he's nice," vernon commented, shrugging. "unlike my aunt." minghao nods. "he's giving us the hospitality we need."
joshua pushes the door wide open and "wow"s erupted from the boys. the deluxe suite that was reserved for them had a large curved balcony that was facing the sea, and the living room was what awed the boys the most. all the furniture was either sea blue or white, which invited in a santorini-like vibe. the large white curved couch surrounding a full screen smart tv was pretty much enough to sit all thirteen of them, and there were three blue bean bags on the floor. there was an open modern-looking kitchen pantry which had all the basic amenities and appliances, as though they were made just for mingyu.
seokmin pulls soonyoung to the second floor of the suite (yes there actually is a second floor). "guys! there are like, seven huuuuuuge rooms up here! we can sleep in pairs!" the rest of the boys hurried up the second floor while mingyu and junhui stayed downstairs, fan-girling over the kitchen. "no way are we gonna sleep in pairs, i refuse." minghao scrunches his face up as he glances at the fairly small king-sized beds in each room. "what, are you planning to sleep alone? not gonna happen, we're gonna need to bond with each other during these four days." seungcheol says, happily skipping over to the second room.
seungkwan claps his hands and immediately catches the attention of all the boys. "okay guys! so basically your roomies have been all thoroughly planned out by yours truly, and only one person gets to have the whole room to himself. drum roll please!" there was silence and the puzzled stares of the others triggered seungkwan. "okay, never mind. seungcheol hyung, you got yourself a whole room." seungcheol immediately pops out of the second room and jumps up and down repeatedly. "HAHA, YA' SEE PEOPLE! SIKE! I GOT MY OWN ROOM, HA! SIKESIKESIKESIKE!"
everyone watched as seungcheol continued to bounce around in his room. "well that went well," soonyoung shrugged. minghao rolled his eyes and continued sulking. "someone kill me now." seungkwan shook his head in disapproval and digs out a piece of paper from his back pocket. "okay anyways! here are the respective roomies for y'all! so vernon and i will be together, seokmin and chan together, mingyu and wonwoo together, soonyoung and jihoon together, jeonghan and joshua together, and minghao and junhui are together! anyobjections?noobjectionsthen! okaygoodluckguys!" seungkwan smiles daftly and walks away.
minghao groans even more. "yes, i heard my name from upstairs! did someone call me?" junhui hollered from the first floor, which made minghao smack his forehead. well this sure was going well...
