I wish I could kiss her back, properly, on those beautiful plump lips I've spent too long wanting.
But I'm scared, and it would be so weird.

James and I catch up to the other campmates just before we're about to reach camp.
"Oh my god!" Sair bellows, being the first to spot the difference.
The camp has been renovated. Opposite the fire is a throne, gold and purple, identical to the one at the trial clearing.
But the major difference is the building at the top of the camp. To the right of the phone box, a splendid Roman bedroom has been built. The curtains are blood-red, and inside lays two actual beds with actual mattresses and actual duvets.
"What!" I gasp. "That's so cool."
On the throne lays a laminate that Emperor Noel picks up and reads off of. "Emperor, this is your throne. Only the Emperor can sit on this throne, and only the Emperor and his Personal Advisor are allowed in the Roman Chamber. In the Chamber is a bell, and when the bell rings, the Emperor and his Personal Advisor are being called to private business."
"The Emperor and his Personal Advisor must now allocate jobs to the gladiators."
Noel and Harry jog excitedly up to the Roman Chamber. I watch as Noel flops on the bed, and Harry closes the curtains, shouting 'goodbye peasants' as he does.
He's certainly taken to his job.
The boys are in the Chamber for what seems like years, and to fill the time, I try to teach Emily and Malique some of my dance moves. "So you twirl your hips in one direction, and put your arm like this."
I try my darnedest to help them perfect my signature dance move, but it just doesn't seem to work. "You know," I chuckle, getting ready to admit a secret, "I know the entire choreography to Fleur's song Sax."
"Shut up." Fleur's jaw drops. "Right, you and I have to perform it!"
"And me!" Emily jumps up.
"That would be amazing!" John squeals, clapping his hands together.
It's at that moment that Harry and Noel re-emerge from their Chamber, and step up to a golden engraved podium. Noel taps the microphone and begins to speak.
"So we have assigned all you peasants with a job!"
"John, Emma and Emily, you will take care of the fire. Anne, Malique, and James, you will be on maintenance duties, leaving Sair and Nick on cooking!"
John stands. "Emperor?"
"Yes?"
"So I'm on fire duties, yes?"
"Yes, and I would appreciate it if you wouldn't scratch your groin when talking to your Emperor."
The camp goes awfully silent. I look up to John, and his face has turned from a playful puppy to a rabid cat. "John, come here," I whisper, patting the bench beside me.
John sits down and takes a few deep breaths; that comment certainly didn't go down well with him.
Once all of us have sorted out our duties (Emily and I tend to the fire whilst John goes to rant about Noel's poor leadership to Nick), another laminate is brought into camp by James.
"Can Nick and Emma please go to the Dingo Dollar Challenge."
I'm so excited. My first Dingo Dollar Challenge! We're all so hungry, so some delicious treats are just what the camp needs, especially as everyone is getting frustrated with Noel.
